I use these Noctua NF-F12 120mm fans exclusively where it'll fit. Because it moves a LOT of air and not loud. Better yet, is normally very quiet while doing so. Currently, have over 20 of these in usage & the spare items which are included alone are worth more than half the price. Example, I don't buy PWM spitters because one is included in package. Lastly, although these has a 6 year warranty, have never had to ask for a replacement of the first one. I believe the double ball bearing (versus the cheaper rifle or sleeve type) is the #1 factor to it's lifespan & low noise. Highly recommended by a DIY enthusiast!

I got two of these to replace the radiator fans on the EVGA CLC 240 because they are super loud even on idle. With the EVGA fans, my temps were good, and so with these noctua fans, I was expecting a slight decrease in performance. News flash, there wasn't. Even better, they perform at a higher tier than the default EVGA ones!! My CPU temp on idle with the EVGA fans jumped from 39-50 C, while under load, they were around 55-63 C. On the other hand, with the noctuas, on idle it sits around 36 - 45 C, and under load it stayed constant at 53 - 55 C. Not only that, but they stay extremely quiet even under load. I can't hear them at all which is impressive to say the least. I do want to point out, to me (and most "normal" people) the fans are *obviously* loud at high speed. It's a stretch to think that a fan running at max rpm wouldn't be audible, but I digress. These fans are meant to perform well at low speeds, and provide the extra cooling you need in "bursts" at high speed. A final note: one of my fans was dying (made a very noticeable clicking sound at any speed). This fan was over 5 years old, and the RMA process was smooth, painless and *quick*. I live in a major city and received the replacement fan in just over a week: 8 days. I can't say enough about their support and was already completely sold on their products. My brother and I were modding a case, and I accidentally set one of his fans (not these fans, but the redux versions he bought), on the workbench. Got the case modded, assembled and then...the fan eventually started making noise, so he initiated an RMA (it was a brand-new fan, and he was unaware of the contamination). After he tells me about it, I recall the incident, investigate it, and sure enough, the metal powder caused the failure. Really easily the best fans I've ever owned. I've build a million PC's for customers. They would always try and save money on the fans. Now I stress the difference in cheap to expensive fans is like a pinto to a lambo. I almost regret it now. I can't go back! The fans fit any industry standard case. They are floating so you don't get any wear on em but hardly. 4 pin so that's always a nice option. No awful RGB's ! These fans do use a little more power. The only bad thing about these guys is the power consumption. The PC in my shop benefits greatly since the insulation is not as robust. I can express enough just how well these fans are manufactured.
