I was so excited to try this phone as I haven't used a Nokia since the early days of wireless phones! The display is beautiful, gorgeous colors and great resolution. Excellent for watching shows, videos and browsing online. The camera has some impressive features with the panoramic shot and being able to zoom out for super wide shots. There's a good array of editing tools. The colors overall and resolution are not as rich or defined as the Samsung Galaxy9 I was using. It struggles with motion shots and being able to focus quickly. That's nice on one hand because you don't have all the bloat ware but I struggled for example with my picture storage as I'm a frequent picture taker and I don't like having to use Google photos. I'd much prefer a native built in gallery. The processor is good, this phone is super fast, I haven't had any problems with crashing while using multiple or power hungry apps. It does a better job of not getting hot than my old phone and the battery lasts forrrreevver!! Overall I think this is a good capable phone for the price tag. If you are used to a premium phone it may seem like a step down but again it's a fourth of the cost! A good investment for economy minded users!

Fantastic budget smartphone. At this price you are getting fantastic battery capacity with smart usage you could easily have this phone last you three days on a single charge. This is mainly a phone for someone who doesn't care about camera or features. Some apps can be clunky and gesture control isn't awesome but this is really a value proposition. I would recommend a third party launcher as "Android One" is very stripped down. Make sure to look at band compatibility as 5g is the biggest feature on this phone. As well look at the security update timeline BEFORE you purchase this phone as it will reach EOL in DEC 2024. For any Nokia nerds there are alarm sounds, text tones, and ring tones that are very nostalgic.

I recently got this Nokia G50 with 5G and the speed is amazing, compared to my other phones. I got this phone in Ocean Blue, it's a really nice color and there's already a screen protector in place! Setup was simple and I was able to transfer everything from my old phone, without any issues. There was an immediate update available, it didn't take much time to complete. Who wants to miss an alarm because they forgot to power on their phone? The issue I have is, all of my notifications catch up as well and that could be a problem, if I was at a meeting or wedding...... To me, those are minor issues and don't change my mind about how great the phone works. With that being said, I definitely would recommend the Nokia G50.

The phone itself is really pretty, with a textured blue back. Also, the value is second to none, for the price you not only get a phone but also a case and screen protector. I would still recommend this phone to someone that just needs a regular plain phone and is not big into taking and posting pictures. For myself, I would not buy it again. I'm going to try another Nokia but I'm hoping I could stretch this phone for at least a couple of years then I would switch for a higher-end Nokia to see if it makes a difference.

The software is a little sluggish and if you're trying to do too much at once it will freeze. If you're trying to catch a quick photo of something that won't stay put for long you're out of luck. And the night sight feature is not super great. The battery life is solid. Good luck calling a bank and having to use their numbering menu system...or call your pharmacy to type in prescription codes. It always quickly goes to a blank screen wherever you are in the process. WHY does such a simple tasks work so poorly with THIS phone? 2). It is not unusual for my phone to simply freeze and become not usable for short durations of time (ie 5-10 minutes).
