Bright color lines like this are usually meant to have a top shot of mono so if the pink is too bright for you this isn’t the right stuff. The colors on this line are measured lengths for those trolling without line counter. It’s handy to have that to check against your “pulls” for accuracy. The bright colors can be good for night too helping to keep eyes on where the line enters the water when gaffing and swiveling, but usually you’d use even brighter stuff for that. The comments and photos about the frays in lines out of the package concern me but I haven’t had this experience with this line myself. My local Bass Pro trolling specialist highly recommended it for trolling without line counters especially.I’ve only bought two spools of it (30 lb and 65 lb). Ran ... Ran my fingers through all of each spool and didn’t run into any frays. Noticed there was a rough spot on the outside edge of the plastic on one spool though. That could cause frays if rubbed against. I’ve gotten a solid amount of both salmon and halibut on this line and haven’t had an issue yet. My setups have consistently outperformed the others on the same boats but different rod and reel too obviously.

I had 15lbs on my Stradic 4000. Seem like the line had a wax or something on the line. Line would dig in after catching a fish and would affect casting distance. Mostly 3inch live baits free line. So very light. I’ve used many brands with success. Can’t recommend this line. Hopefully it was a bad batch.

Purchased 300 yard 80lb test for my favorite saltwater fishing reel. My eyes are getting older and I liked the colors for visibility. Unspooled 300 yards of Power Pro green and respooled with this string. Caught a few sail cats which wasn't my target species. After a bit I hooked onto a bull red, which generally weighs over 20 lbs with tremendous power.. figured 80 lb braid should handle perfectly.. let him swim a bit then felt my time to let my Penn 8000 mated with a Ugly Stik 12' heavy action rod to bring him home.. got a few pulls on him until I felt him dive to the deeps of the ship channel and this line instantly snapped. I purchased this line without reading the reviews.. after I realized this line is trash I had already lost a big one. Switched my reel out ... Switched my reel out that moment to my other Penn 8000 with Power Pro 80 lb yellow for the rest of my trip. Bass Pro should be ashamed carrying this crap line... if it says 80 lb but snaps with a 20 lb fish then it's 15 lb braid. 40$ waisted... they should have a negative star rating...

I bought a 600 yard roll of the 65lb braid to spool on my Avet mxl that has a preset max drag of 20lbs. I lost a big fish as I set the hook on max drag at 20lbs. I figured I was cut off at the leader by a shark. Nope, I reeled in and the line busted.I tied on another leader, but this time is placed the leader hook on my bike so I can add tension to the line at 20lbs of drag. I set the drag and as soon as I put max drag of 20lbs, the line busted an inch or so below the line. I did this experiment 3 times and all failed below the knot. The preset drag of that avet was originally for 65lb fins infinity braid, it never busted. I should've listened to the reviews, this pandera braid is inferior quality.
Last year I got this for my Deep sea reel and it worked amazing. The 50lb test help me land stripped bass, fluke, Black Sea bass, cod, and some big dogfish. It was almost impossible to snap the line when snagged on the ocean bottom. I would highly recommend this
Finest braid available. In my opinion better than Power Pro Slick which is equivalent but more expensive. Super smooth castingand retrieve. Easy to handle. Great knots. Incredibly durable. I've only used the camo. I tie direct to the lure. I never use a monofilament or fluorocarbon leader. Spring, summer and fall 2021 yielded twenty 3lb. to 5lb. Largemouth from the banks. Northeast ponds. Very tough conditions. Lots of trees, branches, debris and structure. The Panderra never broke! Truly amazed by it's performance. It's now my only choice. I've used numerous braids in the past 15 years and this is by far the best I've casted. If you are searching for something better this is the answer. Get some before COVID-19 impacts the supply chain. If you are a rookie stick ... MoreFinest braid available. In my opinion better than Power Pro Slick which is equivalent but more expensive. I haven't used the braid yet but it will be fine. Some of my mates use it and they are happy with it. I bought it based on their thoughts and because it was on sale - Nomad Panderra 8X 400 Metre Braid Line Cyan Blue 65 lb. It's not cheap but it was on sale when i bought.Anaconda's service....easy to order online, fast despatch and braid arrived within a couple of days. I'd have no worries ordering with them again. Just wish they had a store closer so i could walk in....BCF Castle Hill is hanging out for you. Cheers.
While wading in the river I noticed my hands were pink from the line bleeding. About 30 minutes later I noticed there was a pink stain on my shirt where my reel must of been leaning. I haven’t washed the shirt yet so I don’t know if it’s permanent. I think the stained shirt was an isolated incident but I would expect some color to bleed onto your hands. I’ve only used the line once so I can’t say how long until it will stop happening. I would still recommend the line but I’d also recommend maybe soaking it in some warm water prior to use as an attempt to cut down on the color bleeding. The line does still look good. If I could of given partial stars I would of given the line a 3.75 out of 5 stars but I couldn’t so 4 stars it is.
I bought this in 40lb multicolour purple. line feels great in hand, very limp and suple. when spooling line the line did leach some colour but not much. diameter is a little thicker than stated i think( only fit 200m on a penn fierce 3 5000). line has held colour fine while being wet jas great knot strength( using alberto knot to 30lb platypus platinum line) cast amazing and have hadno wind knots, fraying or fluffyness in the braid. has held 4 ounce sinkers with large baits fine. definitely a qaulity line with a great price.
