Nongshim Chapagetti Noodle, 4.5 Ounce

I love these noodles! So tasty and versatile, hearty & filling but light-eating at the same time. Go well with truffles/truffle oil, pak Choi and dumplings (my personal fave way to eat them).

The noodles are amazing. Great texture and holds the sauce very well. The flavor of the seasoning packets on the other hand were very underwhelming. I am used to spicy flavors and this has no spice. The flavor is bland and is probably a good base for bolder flavors. I added crispy garlic chili and it helped a lot. If I saw these on sale I’d buy them for the noodles and toss the seasoning packets end make my own sauce for them. Mine looks watery but I let it sit a couple minutes and it soaked up into noodles.

One of my favorite instant noodles! I actually use these to make Ramdon which is mixing it with another instant noodle and that’s just omg so good ! Cut up some steak toss it in with it and bam you got yourself a delish dinner or lunch

If you're not familiar with the taste of black bean noodles, you might assume the brown sauce tastes sweet like teriyaki, or maybe it's super spicy like Korean instant noodles tend to be. Well, I'm here to tell you... it's neither. The best way to describe Chapagetti sauce would be burnt, nay, charred soy sauce. It's definitely not for everyone, but it can be pretty addictive if you make it properly. You need to drain out all the water, save for a teaspoon or two, and then add the sauce mix. I usually toss in some veggies to boil along with the noodles, and then add some fried, chopped up hot dogs after draining out the water, and then mix up everything with the sauce. This is a very different instant noodle flavor than most Americans are familiar with, but it's sooo good! I grew up in Korea and Japan, and have eaten a ton of these! It's an instant version of a popular Chinese/Korean black bean sauce dish. It's a rich flavor with chunks of veggies in a thick sauce that coats the noodles.

I don’t know why it took me this long to try this. Soo good! I had my boyfriend who’s not very used to asian food try this out and he loved it. Although this isn’t authentic or anything this is a a good way to introduce all the wonderful things about asian food. It’s super easy to make too!

They look and smell so good when you cook it. But the taste is something else. I am just not used to this flavor, it was really different. Hard to put it into words but it’s not my personal favorite.

So yummy!! I prefer mixing this with Neoguri to make Ramdon, as seen in the movie Parasite, but these noodles are also delicious by themselves. I like to top mine with sesame oil and scallions.

I gambled and lost on the taste of this product

I really liked Nongshim's Shin Rahmyun Spicy Gormet noodle soup. I thought I would take a chance on this other Nongshim soup. I lost big-time (or bigly for you illiterate Trump fans). The taste of Chapagetti is bad, not awful, just bad.Fortunately, I was able to salvage the remaining Chapagetti packages with leftover spice from my Spicy Gormet soup packages (I usually only use about half of its the too-salty main spice package).I also used the dried veggie and oil packages from the Chapegetti contents but threw away the main spice package. I then added my own ground turmeric spice and my own leftover veggies such as squash, celery, red cabbage, etc., optional egg, and a dash of SriRacha. I made the first pack up as directed and didn't care for it at all. They seemed slimy and was too salty. The next, I omitted the oil enclosed oil pouch and it was better. I bought this in a combo with the Nongshim Shin Ramyun and found that mixing a pack of each and leaving out the oil was my best option. In the future I'll only get the Nongshim Shin Ramyun.
