One of my favorite instant ramens on the market. It’s an absolute flavor bomb and filling, unlike most instant ramen (at least for me). I like to top mine off with green onion and Thai basil if I have it on hand. The noodles come out to a nice firm texture so long as you follow instructions. Fair warning, this ramen is definitely spicy. If you’re sensitive to spicy food or just not a fan, you may want to consider something else. But if you like beef flavored ramen and enjoy spicy foods, this is a fine option.

When you want some good spice in your life, just go for this nice noodle! I’m pregnant and I crave spicy food a lot, this give me exactly what I needed. I don’t add too much water so it can be spicy enough. And if the water is a bit much, I add dry pepper to it. Don’t copy me, I’m just crazy when it comes to spicy food, you might not be able to handle it. Lol. I just love it and my son also love it much as I do!

This is good noodles. Now this version is made in the USA and it is very noticeably different from the Korean import variant I bought from the Asian stores and the version bought from Costco. Both Costco and the Asian stores have the same quaility and type of noodles. This particular Shin ramyun from Walmart has different type of noodles, slightly thinner and more fried. The color is slightly darker than the other variants, strings are slightly thinner, and the fried noodles are way more crispy which is good if eaten raw, but it's really bad for transporting because they break down so easily, especially in these bags with no cardboard. I don't mind the difference but my wife certainly prefers the original version (and costco version) as opposed to this one.

The spicy ramen is amazing. We allow it to steep for a good 10 minutes before eating. Sometimes it's tough to find in stores, so we like to stock up. My husband was introduced to it when he was stationed in Korea while in the Army. He says this isn't an exact match, but a lot better (and cost effective) than repeated trips to Korea!
This ramen soup is very different than others I have tried, and in my opinion, the best. It is very spicy, and the first time you try it, I suggest using only half of the soup base packet. This brand is not sold by many grocery chains, and availability is sporadic when it is. Fortunately, Walmart sells it, and we stocked up online on ten four-packs so we wouldn't have to keep going to the store.
We really enjoy these noodles, especially the broth. However, be careful ordering these online. I did so and had to go to the store to return them all. For whatever reason, Walmart decided to have their local store deliver them directly, which would have been fine had they not totally messed up the order. I ordered four packs and all of them were the wrong flavor. Clearly the person putting the order together didn't pay any attention to flavors. In fact, I ordered four identical packs and got three of one flavor and one of another. I don't think I'll ever trust Walmart's online ordering for this again.
Do you like Ramen? Do you enjoy hot food? This will make you very happy. The spice level is a bit much for people with no built up tolerance to spicy food, but if you're the type that can handle say - Sriracha sauce levels of heat, you'll likely really enjoy this! This is my go to order when I crave ramen.
As advertised they are spicy. Overall the flavor is better than standard for ramen noodles. This is one of those that comes with a little dried vegetable packet which makes for a bit more substance to it. It's a little larger pack than the cheap noodles too which makes for a generous portion which is nice to share. However nobody else in the house wanted any so I got to eat the whole pack myself. These are definitely going to stay on my shopping list!
This is not for everyone. If you have trouble with mild sauce, please go elsewhere. If you like good taste with plenty of heat, this is a great option.Personally, I use it as a base and add veggies (carrots, peas, corn, etc.). mushrooms, bamboo and protein (chicken, shrimp, tofy). Makes a great lunch. My big downsides are calories (500 for one package) and sodium. As part of an overall diet with good variety with some exercise thrown in, it is a good occasional treat.
Let me change your life. Buy these. Choose a fatty meat of your choice. A cheap option is bacon, but if you can dish out a couple of coins for pork belly do it. Cook the meat then take the meat out when done and use the fatty oil‘s to sauté up some onions and bell peppers . Once your veggies are cooked, in a separate bowl mix the base that comes in the package, with a rich milk. I use coconut milk, but you can use whole milk if that’s what you have. Use About 1/4 cup, but feel it out, you don’t want to water down your mixture but you want enough to make it a bit creamy/rich. Add red pepper, sesame oil, black pepper and a bit of garlic powder if you don’t have actual garlic. Return the meat to the pan with the veggies. Do not overcook your Ramen. It says 3 to 5 ... It says 3 to 5 minutes, I do four minutes. Add the cooked Ramen to the pan sauté it for about 15 seconds with the veggies and meat. Then add your soup mixture on top. Cook it till it’s well mixed for another 15 to 20 seconds and take it out. Top it with chopped green onions. You’re welcome mate.
