I was very excited to try this as I've been on the hunt for nice vegan tints but when I received it I was very disappointed to see it had no tint at all. It was kind of clear with a slight pink tint to it in the packaging but none whatsoever when applied (I even checked on my hand). The packaging while great in that it's eco-friendly is also really hard to use, and you can't easily push it back in if you push it out too far. The scent/flavor is more chocolate than raspberry and the texture is not very nice at all. Thankfully f&f were very helpful and refunded me the cost as the product was not as advertised, which I'm very grateful for. I was going to still try and use it to not waste it but aside from the color problem the formula is also very greasy and kind of ... MoreI was very excited to try this as I've been on the hunt for nice vegan tints but when I received it I was very disappointed to see it had no tint at all. Due to the multiple issues I honestly suspect I've gotten one from a faulty batch because it seems odd a product with great reviews is always this bad. I don't think I'll be bothering with any other Noosa Basics products in the future, but I'm still very thankful for f&f's great customer service.

Impractical, hard to use

Not a great lip balm. Lid slips off too easily, it’s hard to push up the balm and also difficult to get back down if too much is pushed up. The width is also not comfortable to use. Supposed to be vanilla but smells like cocoa. Wouldn’t repurchase.

I bought this because I liked the fact that it was in a cardboard tube. However the tube lid is very loose and the tube is very wide, twice the width of a normal lip balm which makes it awkward to use. Maybe it's meant to be rounded, but mine curves into the centre and into a hole that travels down the tube. It is also very hard and takes a fair bit of rubbing to get it to smooth onto lips. And there is no hint of cherry! Sorry, but definitely not one of my better purchases.

Not impressed...
14 January 2022

I really wanted to love this lip balm, especially as I live in Noosa. It's a larger size than other lip balms, which appealed to my love of 'more product, less waste of packaging.' And it's not in a plastic tube, which I thought was great.I ordered the Cherry and the Mint. The mint has a kind of choco-mint flavour, which isn't bad, but the cherry didn't really taste like anything. The most disappointing thing, though, was that my lips felt drier with the balm on, than they did without it. Not exactly the effect I was hoping for. I'll use them up, but I certainly won't buy them again.

Not my fave
1 June 2022

Not my usual lip balm (fave is Hurraw), but wanted to try something new & I like some other Noosa Basics products so thought I’d try it out. I wanted to love it but it’s just ‘ok’ in my opinion. Doesn’t smell like Vanilla - more like burnt sugar. Texture is moisturising but gritty, not smooth.I like how much you get in a tube & the packaging, but Hurraw is still hands down my fave - no comparison.

Tempting for hounds
8 August 2023

The humans of the household love the Noosa Basics coconut lip balm, but unfortunately so does the dog! The cardboard tubes are unfortunately very chewable so we may have to switch to a less tempting flavour. More seriously, the large size of the Noosa Basics range is great, they last a little longer than other brands.
