The cake turned out perfect. I buttered the inside quite well so that when it was still a bit warm, I was able to flip it and the cake slid thru fine. Mold was easy to clean...just have to get to all parts inside/out...but highly recommend. Just oil/ butter well before putting in the mix.

The cake turned out perfect. I buttered the inside quite well so that when it was still a bit warm, I was able to flip it and the cake slid thru fine. Mold was easy to clean...just have to get to all parts inside/out...but highly recommend. Just oil/ butter well before putting in the mix.
Can't wait to see a finished product from this pan! Size is a bit smaller than expected. however description led me to believe it would accommodate a full size cake...we will see....

I have been searching the four corners of the earth to find a HIGH Gugelhupf pan. The cake just looks so much more elegant when it's at least as high as it is wide. Can't find that ANYWHERE (not even in Germany!).This pan does the trick when filled well. With the rise the proportions come out beautifully.

Just added Platinum Kugelhopf pan to my collection. Excellent quality fine fit and finish. Released beautifully upon first trial. Adds an interesting variation to my cakes. Baking is my favorite hobby and my friends think that I do pretty well asking things like when are you going to make another....
I made a pound cake using this pan as soon as it arrived. Beautiful cake!!! Very tall cake!! Glazed it very slowly and glaze flowed in just the right way.
