Best Baking Sheets You Can Buy

Nordic Ware is the gold standard for baking sheets. The quality of the sheets is exceptional. They feel incredibly sturdy and won't warp over time. Heating is even throughout the pan. I have several different sizes depending on the use-case and the quality is consistent across all of them. The only things to watch out for are to make sure not to use anything that will scratch the aluminium, and not to put it in the dishwasher. The dishwasher will discolour it, but it will bake just as well as it always has.

Defective/poor quality

Received half baker's sheet pan, was excited until I took the sleeve off and found that there was a manufacturer's defect in the lid. One end of the lid held securely to the pan while the other end would not defeating the whole purpose of having a lid. You can clearly see that the plastic was not molded correctly to grip the pan. This should have been caught in quality before the product was ever shipped from the manufacturer. I've returned and requested a replacement but if the next one comes and is just like this one I will request a refund and will look for a more quality product. My plan was to purchase more but with the quality of this first one I'm just not sure. Guess we'll see if the replacement measures up.

Didn’t stay looking nice no matter how you wash it

There should be a red letter warning in capital letters to NOT put it in the dishwasher!! This was a nice pan until a family member ran it through their dishwasher before returning it. Now it looks like a rusty mess and who would want to eat any food from out of a pan that looks like that? It looks so bad, I am having trouble believing it is aluminum. Beware! It looks nice and shiny when you purchase it, but does not stay that way even if you only hand wash it - I have 3 of these!!

Extremely disappointed!

I am extremely disappointed in this. Do they not have quality control? I received one for a Christmas gift. The lid did not stay on the one end. I sent it back and reordered. It came today. The lid does not stay on the one end! I have three sheet pans. I don't need another without a lid. I want one the lid stays on. People buy these to keep the baked stuff from drying out. I don't know whether to try again or not.

Lid did not fit - No good to me

Decided to skip Amazon for a change and support BB&B, excited to use my 20% off coupon. The system didn't recognize my phone number for the coupon. I said screw it and ordered anyway, without my 20% off. When it arrived, I was quite disappointed the lid didn't even snap all the way on to the pan. Otherwise, it was a great looking product, and a heavy duty pan but unfortunately without a working lid, it was no good to me. Shipped it back for a refund and ordered a half sheet pan with a lid from Sam's Club. Arrived and looks great!

Make sure to check measurements for this great pan

I gave it 5 stars because it is a very good quality item. It’s solid looks like it won’t get warped in the high temperatures and will do a great job cooking many meals. However it was just an inch too wide for my toaster oven. It was confusing with the measurements it seemed like it lined up with the measurements with the oven but turns out that the measurements are from inside the pan, does not count the outside. So be aware since I am new to buying things like this I didn’t realize. Anyways I’m sure this information will help someone else. Just be sure to add a few investors for lining or the handle if any. It also came with a great cover for when u just want to cover the leftovers which is super handy. Painter's Wet Palette!

Nordic Ware makes the best cookware, but I use this one for a wet palette, because it has a lid, and it's the perfect size. I use a dish cloth sponge in the bottom, but you can also use paper towels, and put parchment paper on top, then your paints. One year later, and the pan has never rusted! It's perfect!

Worth every penny.

I have purchased two of these pans in another store, about year ago for my countertop convection Breville oven. No buckling in the oven while baking , roasting, and broiling at 500 degrees. Pretty sturdy. Easy cleanup, I like using parchment paper with it. But when stuff cooks onto the sides, still easy clean up. Perfect size for a pan meal, without extra dishes. The lid seems sturdy and very little odder, for plastic. A fair price at JCP . Hope to purchase a few more for extra pan meals If you need a small pan for large toaster ovens or a small batch of cookies. Go for it, they are worth it.
