NordicTrack Commercial 1250 Treadmill

With multiple users at home, this treadmill's versatility is a winner. Everyone in the family can customize workouts, and the entertainment options make exercising enjoyable for all ages. My husband is an avid runner while I am more of a hike or trail walker. This machine has so many different settings or options when it comes to working out in the way you like. This is a great home treadmill.This treadmill was pretty easy to assemble. It only took us about an hour and we only had one little problem with the wire being stuck inside one of the pieces, but once we freed it it was easy. It required two of us to put it all together.The treadmill belt stands about 10” off the ground which meant that my 6’2” husband wouldn’t be able to use it in most of the rooms in our house, so we had to put it in our living room. It is a very sturdy feeling treadmill and while it is somewhat large it isn’t huge, and it folds up which makes it take up a little less floor space.I love the lift assist which is built in. It makes it super easy to lift up and to lower the treadmill and once you push the foot thing in it pretty much lowers itself.I already had an iFit account so it was simple to log in and just get going.There are buttons to change incline and speed on both the handlebars and on the upright display which makes it easy to change them however you want. There is also a nice range in incline from -3% to 12%. My husband is using the high incline to get himself ready for hiking season and he loves it. The touchscreen is clear, bright, and very responsive. There are spots on either side of the handlebar where you can put your water bottle or other things like cell phone or headphones. The upright display is low enough that I can see over it to watch tv or something, but there isn’t a device shelf on the treadmill to watch anything on my phone or tablet. It's easy to change the display angle and tilt so we can make it comfortable for my husband or I.I like to connect my bluetooth headphones to the treadmill so I can get immersed in the workout. There is also a built-in radio that I can listen to at the same time as the trainers. Although doing manual workouts is easy, I like to follow the iFit workouts. The trainers all seem very knowledgeable and I like that it takes the guesswork out of the home workouts for me. It’s like having a personal trainer in my own home, especially when I am following a series of workouts that helps me progress through it and get better instead of just doing random workouts here or there.Overall I think this is a great home treadmill.

The NordicTrack Commercial 1250 is a great value! The treadmill arrived in a secure package and was easy to unbox - the delivery drivers brought the pallet into my garage. We had 3 adults move the tread inside piece by piece.One of the wires that run the length of the sidebar slipped into the metal casing and was difficult to get back out. We were unaware of this wire prior to assembly, so I would recommend double-checking to make sure you have secured it before moving your parts around too much. It took two adults about an hour to assemble. Make sure to plan for two to assemble, just one person would be unrealistic.I am 6’2” and about 190 lbs, and the deck is comfortable for my stride. The screen rotates and tilts very easily, which is convenient since my wife and I are different heights.I really like iFIT. I love the destination workouts where I can enjoy a change of scenery while I exercise indoors. The interface was easy to use and all workouts are classified by difficulty, which is a helpful gauge when looking for where to start. One of my favorite features about iFIT is called Smart Adjust: if you change the speed or incline during your workout, the treadmill adjusts your whole workout. If you decide to go back, you can always choose to “Follow Trainer” and the difficulty will revert.Overall, I am very pleased with this NordicTrack treadmill! I am happy with the max speed (12 MPH), max incline (12%), and it is really nice to have decline options as well (-3%). iFIT is a great addition that has kept me interested and engaged for all of my workouts so far. I was given this product at a reduced price in exchange for my honest feedback.
