The dial adjustment system works really well. For a mid-range shoe, they feel reasonably stiff and are not too heavy (~820 g with SPD cleats fitted).

An excellent pair of shoes - stylish, yet made from tough materials, and a great addition to the 3 other pairs of NorthWave cycling shoes that I own. Comfortable and great adjustment with the boa closures.

I really wanted these shoes to work as they're pretty decent value, especially on sale. I was willing to accept their elderly orthopedic appearance in exchange for a wide MTB SPD platform that didn't require spending $300, but they run small and are indistinguishable from a "normal" width in the toe box. I do like the fact they're reasonably stiff, but that's about where it ends. I used NW's sizing recs, which shows a 45 for a US 12.
Perfect ! Comfortable and very rigid. No complaints. I took the same size as for classic shoes
I'm crazy to try them, but they look great. They look robust in terms of the fabric as well as a super stiff sole. Maybe I was expecting them a tad more apt to walk ... But come on, their thing is the stiffness for pedaling. Quick and effective store service. A price much lower than in other stores.
