I grew up in Vermont and we always had real pine trees for our Christmas Trees. Now I live in Australia and celebrate Christmas in the hot summer heat and it NEVER feels like Christmas😩 it’s the time of year I feel most homesick and crave the scents & feelings I had growing up.Each year, I search for a candle that smells like a pine forest and burn it everyday leading up to Christmas. This Christmas, NO LUCK finding a truly pine-scented candle!THEN on a whim, I ordered this Pine Needle Essential Oil and voilà ! I got my pine FOREST! I burn it in a diffuser and it fills the house with the smell of my childhood Christmas 🎄 i love it!

Very nice oil! The quality, as I see it, can't be beat. And the price is quite reasonable. It has a very appealing scent, so much so that I plan on buying an ultrasonic diffuser to scent the whole house.I'm using this oil in a mixture of several essential oils to help with the nerve pain of peripheral neuropathy. Some relief has been the result, but not as much as one would hope. I have read several sources stating this oil and several others has been used in various studies and showed promising results. I have only been using for about a week so I am trying to tweek a recipe of several oils to hopefully come up with a better pain reliever. If it doesn't work any better at least I smell good, sooo there's that

Excellent product, high quality as all NOW Essential Oils are. Strong, pungent Germ Fighter. Perfect for making a Four Theives formula. I just want to state that there is NO CLASSIFICATION by the FDA for "Therapeutic Grade" Essential Oils. Do your research and do not be duped into purchasing expensive "Therapeutic Grade" when such a thing doesn't exist. Note: This review is solely based upon my independent review. This natural essential oil has a wonderful, therapeutic smell without being too overpowering. I generally prefer to purchase organic essential oils as they tend to have fewer impurities although NOW Foods offers a broad range of consistently high-quality oils at a competitive price point. I add a few drops to a spray bottle with water and spritz around my home plus put on the floor of my shower for both the aroma and therapeutic benefits. Eucalyptus is an incredibly versatile essential oil, with numerous benefits for the respiratory & circulatory systems of the body; amongst other things it can help with colds & congestion, muscle pain, arthritis, immune conditions and is an effective insect repellent. *** Please 'like' this review if U found it helpful ***
This oil has a very pleasant, calming scent when I use it in my diffuser, but the pine needle elements are not as I had hoped. I notice a little more eucalyptus or rosemary scent to it once it is diffused. It is still a very nice and comforting aroma that I enjoy. The large bottle and affordable price will make it easy to experiment with mixing with other scents, but I haven't tried that yet. The bottle notes 100% pure pine needle oil, with the source being from Scotch pine needles. Now's balsam fir oil might provide a more traditional Christmas tree scent if that's what you're looking for. I am a casual user of essential oils but all of the Now brand oils in my collection seem to be of high quality for my purposes.

This will work well during illness to clear the lungs and for muscle aches when added to a carrier oil. I suspect it will also aid in repelling bugs. We use essential oils as colognes and as scented moisturizers when added to natural carrier oils like coconut or grape seed. Due to chemical sensitivities, allergies and eczema in our family, we cannot use most products, even those claiming to contain natural fragrance. NOW is one of the few brands that doesn’t have an underlying chemical smell and you only smell the actual essential oil.
I live where I have to share a laundry room with others. After years of experimenting on how to get the awful fake smells of commercial laundry fragrance out of the machines before I do my own loads. I discovered that several drops of this plus several drops of the NOW peppermint in the first load or two helps. I do the rags first as they won't be on my body and it helps get the worst smells out (sometimes a bit of bleach in the first rag loads helps too). I don't know why it works but it does! I had used Tea Tree for years; much more expensive, and this seems to work better. The fragrance dissipates in a few hours, and does not stay on the clothes. I like NOW's essential oils; affordable and pure.
