The idea to use ACV at all was because of a red-ish stain on my Samoyed's face from drooling under himself as he sleeps in the cool shower stall. The stain is so bad around his mouth the fur is stained black. Also around his eyes it's a ring of "rust." I know this is a relatively common bacteria but Gunner's went away on its own after we rescued him, so I put it down to stress. It's back and I was told a teaspoon of ACV would help. Man, that was a fight! Gunner does NOT like ACV. I thought the pill form would be easier. I hide it in various things as treats that they swallow whole anyway. I think, for this kind of use, the liquid was working faster and better. His breath has improved a lot, something I wasn't expecting.

This is a quality product I'm used to from NOW Foods. 450 mg is a good dosage and the size of the capsules is manageable. They had a feint smell, but that is alright. They go easily down the hatch. If you're interested in trying out apple cider vinegar and you're not into drinking it or buying one of the overly sweetend liquid supplements, this is worth a try. I'm pretty happy with it.That being said, the capsules alone won't just shed weight. They're not some superfood. They'll help out with a reasonable diet. Add some amount of activity and it'll do the trick.

This is an excellent product. I have suffered with heartburn (acid reflux) for more than 20 years. I took the generic of Prevacid for years also. It got to the point that I had no stomach acid. I made sure to order this product without maltodextrin, but not only I received the wrong item with maltodextrin AS THE FIRST OTHER INGREDIENT, BUT ALSO MYSUPPLEMENTSHOP'S "REFUND POLICY" DOES NOT ALLOW FOR THE RETURN OF UNOPENED ITEM! MALTODEXTRIN is a white powder made from corn, rice, potato starch, or wheat. Even though it comes from plants, it's highly processed. Maltodextrin has a high glycemic index (GI) value, which means it can cause a spike in your blood sugar. People with celiac disease or diabetes should should be extremely careful with this substance.
