I'm trying to change my bad snacking habits (I gave up smoking in ;ate 1990). I figure that maybe this could be something different that might work out for me. This stuff is so hard that it wouldn't even soften up in my hot cup of coffee. It is crunchy and of course I like crunchy snacks, but just eating this stuff by itself didn't work for me. I was forewarened by one review, but I needed a change so I decided to try it out. I will not buy this stuff again. Since we all have different tastes and lifestyles, I gave this stuff an average score of three stars. There is no reason to rank a product one star simply because you don't like it. I do buy a lot of products made by NOW Foods especially since all their gelatin softgels are bovine.

This superfood is delicious! It’s very fresh and the flavour is amazing. I mix it in my smoothies, put it on my steel cut oats, mix it with my trail mix and sometimes just eat a handful of it. It’s bitter, cocoa taste is amazing. I love that it’s a powerful antioxidant and I know I’m doing wonders for my health when I eat it. IF you like something a little sweeter, try eating it with dried cherries (or any other fruit). For a healthy snack, mix it with shredded coconut (unsweetened of course), dried cherries and coconut oil. Scoop a tablespoon onto some wax paper and pop it in the freezer. It makes a great snack when you need an energy boost. The ziplock package is great too, it keeps it fresh! Highly recommend this product!
