Tasty, healthy and very filling.Soak it in lukewarm water for a night and cook with milk or half-water half coconut milk with raw pumpkin and dry fruits and a pinch of salt. The best breakfast for a cold and long day!

Happy to access to organic steel cut oats. They are more filling, nice and chewy. I soak my oats to reduce the phytic acid, then cook them as usual. I usually make it a day ahead, because cooled carbs are less of blood sugar spike. So I bake these the night before and reheat for breakfast.

We love this product. It’s the first time we tried steel cut oats and our kids love it. We make a hearty porridge every morning, and our youngest (6 months old) has started on it too. We soak the oats overnight to maximise the absorption of all the nutritional goodness. The texture is much more appealing to our kids than oat flakes and the finer content is a great start for breakfast. We have no complaints and will buy again!

I had been looking around for steel cut oats since I found out about them. Luckily, I have been able to find them on iHerb for a good price. I mix them with milk or water and leave them overnight in the fridge in a jar. They taste great without cooking the next morning and even a day later. I have no concerns about quality, as there are no preservatives or anything like that in the ingredients list. The size of the bag is perfect for the IKEA's plastic box for cereal. I have been eating them every day for breakfast since the first time I ordered them. I can highly recommend them to anyone looking for a healthy breakfast option.
I tried this for the first time because of the iherb sale. I like it. I found that I had to cook it longer, but that actually enchanced the taste. Quality ingredient, great size package and healthy as can be. Never thought NOW would make a good food product as I associate the brand with vitamins, but good job.
note., these oatmeal is not the typical tolled oats, meaning it takes much longer than “typical” oatmeal to finish cooking. it’s best to soak the oats in water overnight before cooking the next morning. that said, the taste is good and a little nuttier than typical oatmeal, if you don’t mind the necessary soaking and extra cooking time. the quality seems good, although i did find a small pebble mixed in with the oats.
It was cheaper or on sale, and I thought all steel cut oats are the same. I don't think there's much difference in taste, but the texture is quite goopy with this one. Especially if I don't use enough water. BRM oats will still have individual oat separating, but this one got stuck together. Other than texture, the taste and chewiness is the same.
