This is a high quality product that I take to help control my cholesterol levels without taking statins. With exercise, a clean diet, and 3 psyllium husks 3 times a day, my cholesterol levels are in the good range whereas before they were much too high. My doctor approves of this regimen. I feel great and confident knowing this has improved my health without taking a prescription drug. Easy to swallow and I've never had a problem with the capsules being broken or cracked in the container like some other brands I've tried. I'll will stay on this regimen and enjoy great health without medication. Always check with your medical provider before taking any supplements.

These capsules are easy to take, even for my 12-year-old. The whole family takes it with no side effects. I find it better than the equivalent Metamucil capsules available in Australia. We take these before eating a heavy meal to help with blood sugar levels - my husband checks his levels using the continuous glucose monitor, which indicates the capsules seem to help (compared to when he doesn't take it before the equivalent carb-loaded meal). We are not diabetic but mindful that we are close to being pre-diabetic. Our endocrinologist recommends eating fiber (fresh vegetables) before eating protein and dessert. Getting kids to eat their vegetables, especially before their protein, is challenging, so they take this on occasion.

I originally purchased this for my digestive issues. it works great for them, if you have diarrhea or loose stools- these will fix them! Just make sure to drink pretty much water when you down these- as they expand after swallowing.Another fantastic effect, and I wasn't expecting it is it helps urine flow tremendously. I usually have to strain my muscles to even get a few drops of urine out, so I wake up twice a night to urinate. Even just taking 1 of these a day it creates a powerful flow of urine. The capsules are easy to swallow (always take with a FULLglass of water) and there's no negative after effects like diarrhea, gas, or bloating. The capsules are grayish in color, large enough to swallow, but generally easy to swallow. I started on a regimen of taking it once a day with meals in the morning. I read that Psyllium causes a lot of stomach rumbling, so I didn’t decide to drink it at night at first. Taking one capsule a day did the trick. I started going to the toilet every morning. Sometimes even 2 times a day. Mostly my stomach was growling, but quite pleasantly. And in general, the entire gastrointestinal tract has become much calmer in terms of gas formation. Everything was pleasant and calm and quiet.
