Nude by Nature Complexion Essentials Starter Kit (Light/Medium)

I purchased Nude by Nature several weeks ago from Chemist Warehouse. Firstly, the delivery was excellent. No sooner had I ordered it on line and there it was being delivered. The product is marvelous. I have 74 year old skin but after I had applied this makeup my skin felt so soft and lovely. It also took several years off. I am absolutely delighted with both Chemist Warehouse and Nude by Nature.

Excellent sizes to properly trail the products

Purchased for myself just prior to Christmas as I had developed a skin reaction to other makeup in my collection. I decided to try Nude By Nature when I saw that it was apparently very sensitive skin friendly and it is. It also provides excellent coverage for my rosacea on my cheeks and nose without being too heavy. The kit has everything you need to do a full face of makeup (making use of the bronzer as an eyeshadow) except for a mascara, which I have since purchased separately. I've also purchased some eyeshadows and an eyeliner, completing my collection of the NbN range, and am a complete convert. I find that it's the only makeup I can wear daily without feeling as if I've got a mask on, which is especially nice this time of year in the summer heat.

Great Starter Kit for Beginners

I'm 28yo and I have started wearing makeup for the first time. This little Starter Kit is awesome for people like me, who know nothing about makeup. This kit has instructions inside it. I just love it. It's smooth on my skin and feels light. Just make sure to cleanse your face every morning and night. Don't forget to moisturize your face and neck too. (That helps )

Great for those who want to try Nude by Nature

This sampler is a great, inexpensive way to try out Nude By Nature for the first time. This $30 sample/travel pack is definitely worth it, especially since it not only retails at $50-$60, but the full sized versions would cost at least $200! Definitely a great way to try it, without the risk of wasting $200 on a product you don't like. When applied according to instructions (including video instructions) it gives a natural looking finish, but doesn't do a great job of covering many of the imperfections normal liquid foundation does cover. So it's good for a minimalist, almost make-up-less nude look, but requires something more for that flawless look. I have discovered I can get a more flawless type look by applying these powders over my regular liquid foundation, which isn't Nude by Nature as I've found that their liquid foundation has an uneven, ill-distributed texture (clumpy in parts, like water in other), which was the same at several different suppliers.

Great value on sale.

I have previously purchased this for myself to try NbN products and so was confident that it would make a great gift for someone just starting out with makeup. I loved the primer and graduated to the full size once it was finished. The brush is great quality and I like the powder. The blush is a little dark for me. I have tried the other items and still have plenty left. Although they are trial sizes, they still last for ages.

My first time using this brand, hence purchasing the starter pack. Excellent value for money. Beautiful products with no nasties. Lovely and smooth coverage.

Natural looking

Have recently bought this. Don’t wear a lot of makeup normally but felt like a lift and thought I’d try this. Received compliments on both days that I wore it to work . People said it was natural looking and made me look younger. I’ll take that as I’m in my 50s. I bought the starter kit first in store to try as I had been looking at the individual powders and worked out which colour suited. I choose the medium set but unfortunately the loose powder was for fair skin tones. I returned it immediately as I read the bottom of the small container after noticing it seemed light in colour. They happily refunded me my money and I purchased the individual powders instead.

Nude by Nature complexion essentials collection

I love Nude by Nature products and this colour is right for my skin tone. The black makeup case with a rose gold zip is very classy. However the makeup items inside are small and sample size. I am very pleased I did not pay full price. Thanks Chemist Warehouse.

Simple, compact - not speedy yet!

I have had the minerals starter kit for 2 weeks and have not mastered it yet - only tried a few times. I'm pretty sure it was a good-value purchase however and like the compact case which keeps the products neatly together. I'm ready for my next weekend away too - whenever.....

Why only average?

So... I opened the product and I was shocked at how tiny it is. Bearly maybe 2-3 uses out of the concealer, other containers also tiny. I know it is a starter pack, but I didn't expect it to be for Barbie :D I tried it and as quality it is ok. I need to wear it all day to tell how it behaves, but the first impression is positive. Yet the overall rating is 'overall' not just quality. So only 3 stars, although deep down I wanted to give just 2.
