Because of the light texture, its best applied with your fingers. I applied a generous amount to the face, and found it did cover up any light blemishes I had. I found it definitely was hydrating, and did not cling to any dry patches which was amazing. It evened my skin tone out, but for any noticeable flaws such as bright redness, I found myself having to put a concealer on top. I also find that the tip dispenser is a little too wide for the watery consistency so I have to be a little careful not to squeeze too hard and make a mess. It let all of my natural skin texture shine through but still evened out my skin tone and had a slight blurring effect and gave me a beautiful glow. It let all of my natural skin texture shine through but still evened out my skin tone and had a slight blurring effect and gave me a beautiful glow. It was perfect for giving me that summer holiday glow no-makeup look. I can definitely imagine this being good for winter as well when you need that extra moisture and skin protection. My dry skin definitely drank up the oils in this product and was a happy camper, however I did find that I needed to go back in and set my face with my Nude By Nature mineral powder for work as the high moisture content in this serum could cause transfer into my mask. I would recommend this to girls with dry skin (girls with oily skin would struggle with the oils in this), and would recommend it for days you want a beautiful undetectable no makeup glow, and you can layer it with your favourite mineral powder or finishing powder to lock it all in if needed.
