The peachy shades were really lovely for a sweet and every day look, and blended beautifully on my light/medium sand asian skin tone. I generally prefer a slightly bigger, fluffier brush for my lids, so it doesn’t take forever and a day to apply shadow to them. I feel like most people would find this brush too small for all over lid shadowing. Keep this in mind if you do want to travel with this palette and bring an extra brush.The real star of the party here are the shadows themselves. They are decent sized pans (2g each). They are pigmented without effort and they are long lasting. These shadows lasted on my eyes for a solid 7 hours at work before beginning to fade. There was very little fallout on my eyes and in the pans. They could be layered on top of each other without causing a mess.These shadows are quite glowy and warm, perfect for summer looks. Some days I added neutral browns from another palette to help darken the look a bit and mix things up. I feel like this palette works well alongside other neutral palettes and easy to incorporate into your everyday routine.I was happy to see that these shadows are made in Canada (not China yayy) they contain a lot of natural ingredients like Sweet Almond oil and soybean.Honestly, I’m impressed, a nice formula that actually works, blends wells and lasts AND its made of mostly good ingredients (except perhaps Mica but lets face it, Mica is in everything. It’s not a bad ingredient exactly but it depends if its been ethically sourced, that’s a whole other can of worms for another day)Overall, Nude By Nature have made a killer product here, this eyeshadow palette will not disappoint in price or in quality!I now want to go and buy the other shades in the set!

I was a bit sceptical using peachy/pink shades but was quite surprised with how much I have reached for this in the last couple of weeks.For starters, the packaging is compact and sleek. Good size mirror, which is always a plus! Great pan size for the shadows which means they are going to last a long time. And you can’t go wrong with a rose gold exterior.The colours are just the right amount of selection for you to be able to experiment with different eye looks, with 3 matt shades and 2 shimmer shades. My job is standard 9-5 and I am often driving out and about or sitting at a desk. When I would come home and check my makeup, the shadow was still pretty much in place. Maybe faded in the slightest, but overall seemed to be still pretty much in tact and colours still beautifully blended. I don’t wear any sort of eye primer or base, so perhaps this may have stopped it from fading ( again, it was only the faintest bit faded). Considering I have spent top dollar on high end brands, this has actually lasted better.The brush included is probably the only negative comment I have. I found myself reaching for my other eyeshadow brushes. The flat brush side did not evenly apply all over the lid and definitely is not desirable for the crease. I feel like the angled brush side is exactly what you’d look for if you are needing that brush, but I personally use that for darker colours to go along the lash line, which this pallet does not include a darker colour and I did not have a purpose for the angled brush.Overall I was very impressed with this palette and won’t stop at this when it comes to Nude By Nature shadows. The quality and longevity is on par with some high end brands that you spend ridiculous money on. This palette is so affordable, yet high quality. It’s a win win. If it perhaps had a better application brush, you really wouldn’t need to use anything else for the eyes. If Peach colours are note really your cup of tea, try this and I think you will soon change your mind.

There are a mix of matte and shimmer shades, with the matte ones leaning more peachy (Soft Coral and Apricot) and the shimmers on the copper/champagne side - nice to blend into the mix. The pale shade, Shell, was matte and chalky on my skin.I did find that the pigment faded and creased quite a bit as the day went on; it was easily re-blended to look more passable but definitely lost quite a bit of colour as the day went on. I would wear these colours again and I'm glad the shades were so wearable, but the poor wear factor and quality of the packaging detract from my overall opinion. 3/5.

The Nude by Nature Natural Illusion Eye Palette exceeded my expectations. I have historically avoided pink toned eyeshadows thinking they would make me look like I have a skin irritation or rash. However the pink shades looked very pretty and the contrast made my green eyes stand out. The powdered eyeshadows have a creamy feel when applied and blended well. The application brush did the job but I do prefer to use my own blending brush to blend the shades more easily once applied. However when travelling I can make do with just the application brush that comes with the product. The rose gold packaging reminded me of an expensive brand like Hourglass which gives it a luxurious feel. I definitely recommend this product. The palette consisted of 5 neutral colours that effortlessly look beautiful put together. It also consist of a gorgeous mirror just above the eyeshadow on the opening lid. The mirror is the absolute perfect size for the palette, it makes applying eyeshadow super manageable and makes it seem just as easy as if it were a large mirror. The eyeshadow applied nicely and blended amazing. All colours in the palette compliment each other very well, Allowing for many neutral combinations to be made. The eyeshadow did crease but it was several hours after applying, so it did still last for a long time regardless of this. If someone was looking for a neutral an everyday eyeshadow palette, this quite literally would be the perfect palette for your needs. It’s great quality, looks aesthetically pleasing and seems to just pop with even some subtle application.
