I was initially sceptical of how it would work in terms of coverage and lasting power compared to other mineral foundations, liquid foundations and BB Creams I had previously used. After using this product I can honestly say it is by far my favourite type of foundation to date.\n\nIt is so easy and quick to apply to the skin with your favourite powder brush. I find it leaves the skin looking very nautral with a light to medium coverage and evens out your skin tone all while allowing the skin to breathe and giving it a subtle healthy glow. Unlike most foundations that leave you feeling as though you have some sort of product sitting on the surface of your face, this mineral foundation is so lightweight it honestly feels like you aren't wearing any sort of foundation at all. I found it also didn't oxidise or require touch ups as a result of shine that can occur with some liquid foundations throughout the day. Unlike a few other mineral foundations I had tried previously it also didnt have an orange undertone to it but instead matched colour of my skin perfectly. It lasts pretty well throughout the day particularly if you apply a primer first but I would say it isn't as long lasting as a good foundation would be. For a bit of extra coverage you can easily apply concealer and/or foundation underneath this product which also works great as a setting powder while still offering extra coverage.\n\nThis foundation did not irritate my skin or break me out so I would definitely recommend this product to anyone with sensitive or acne prone skin. It was also not drying to the skin like some other powders can be so I feel it would be suitable for both oily and dry skin. Another bonus to it is that it has SPF in it which surpised me for a mineral foundation but is great as your skin is getting the protection it needs particularly during the summer months without even noticing you have SPF on. If you are someone who isn't a fan of harsh or distinct smells to your foundations then this product is great for you also. \n\nThe only two downsides to this product are the colour range and price. It doesnt have a wide range of colour choices so I would definitely recommend if you can to have a professional help you find the right colour for your skin tone. The foundation is also rather expensive but if you are willing to spend a little extra then I am sure you will not be disappointed as it is a great quality product and will last you a while as only a minimal amount is required for great results. \n

Usually I am not a big fan of powder foundation. I used to have the impression that powdered makeup would make my skin look too matte, too dry and it would cake easily. However, Nude by Nature’s Mineral Cover has caught me by surprise.\n\nInitially,I did not like this powder foundation at all. I found that it went on patchy, and it was difficult for me to obtain an even finish. Later, I realised that the problem was with the brush (I was using Nude by Nature’s Mineral Powder Brush), and not with the powder foundation itself. I switched over to use the Optical Blurring Brush (a buffing brush) by Urban Decay and the result was so much better. I was glad that I gave this foundation a second chance by using a different brush! So my biggest tip would be to use a brush ... MoreUsually I am not a big fan of powder foundation. I switched over to use the Optical Blurring Brush (a buffing brush) by Urban Decay and the result was so much better. I was glad that I gave this foundation a second chance by using a different brush! So my biggest tip would be to use a brush with high density bristles. A good brush can make a world of difference!\n\nAs a good practice I always prime my skin with a hydrating primer before applying Mineral Cover. I usually use Nude by Nature’s Perfecting Primer. However, I have also tried different water-based primers (with or without silicones) and they work just as well with Mineral Cover. The use of primer increases the longevity of the makeup, as well as giving it a slightly luminous finish.\n\nTo apply the powder, I flip the container upside down with the lid on, and use a buffing brush to pick up powder from the lid of the makeup. I then tap off the excess against the lid and apply the brush onto my skin in small circular motion, starting from the areas that I want a darker contour (i.e. jawline, under the cheekbones and temples), and then gradually blend it out to the other areas. Applying the powder this way naturally highlights the structure of my face. It takes me less than a minute to blend the powder evenly. The result is a sheer, natural coverage that does not lack luminosity. It feels lightweight and my skin is breathable the whole day. I like how this product lets me show off the healthy skin underneath without the heavily powdered look, and yet it matifies my T-zone areas without looking dry and cakey.\n\nThis product is not very buildable so I would not recommend if if you are looking for a full coverage foundation. However, it is an excellent foundation for those who are after a sheer coverage and a quick and easy application.

I had been on the hunt for a good, easy mineral foundation for a while now. I always heard it was better for the skin (generally and because I have acne) and watching how quickly it can be applied while still looking flawless was a big draw. \n\nNude by Nature was the most obvious pick due to it's reputation and it's constant inclusion in 50% off deals from Chemist Warehouse and Priceline. This is where I grabbed it first, in it's original packaging which is all plastic with a twist top that locks the product before the lid goes on, and then later in a special edition packaging which has a netting and is only blocked by the lid. I personally prefer the net/special edition packaging. \n\nThe product itself comes in a limited colour range but seems to suit a fair few ... MoreI had been on the hunt for a good, easy mineral foundation for a while now. A lightweight powder, it has a light to medium but certainly buildable coverage. It goes onto the skin very easily and I prefer to have a pretty hydrated base, too matte and I feel it can look a bit dry and powdery. It buffs into the skin effortlessly and I never see any streak or lines, and the finish is incredibly light and breathable - a true skin like feel and finish. This is very easy to build on each other without caking up and looking too heavy and is quite good for midday touchups. It doesn't settle into pores or lines and does an okay job at keeping my combination skin at bay. Finally, this is quite long lasting and I have found I still maintain coverage at the end of my 10 hour work day (I apply around 630 and don't get home till 430)\n\nOverall this is an excellent product and considering the deals you can find for it, is something I highly recommend you try out. \n\nPROS: \n- lightweight and breathable \n- skin like, natural finish\n- buildable coverage \n- longwearing\n- can be found on sale often and easily \n- Australian brand! \n\nCONS:\n- limited shade range\n- may not be mattifying enough for oily skin types\n\n

I had tried a mineral powder foundation years ago and I wasn’t at all impressed with it. \n \nI chose the Light/Medium shade which is quite pink but is the perfect shade for my fair complexion. \n \nI am quite happy with the condition of my skin in regards to hydration and texture so I followed my normal skincare routine of applying mist toner, serum, eye cream and moisturiser and then applied my primer. \n \nI followed the instructions for applying the Natural Mineral Cover Foundation, all the while hoping I wouldn’t end up looking like an ‘old dear’ with a cakey face, but as I buffed the powder onto my skin in light circular motions I could see how beautifully even my complexion looked – and without a dry, powdery look. In fact, my skin still had a healthy glow. I did myeye makeup and used a powder blush to finish off the look. The foundation lasted all day looking just as fresh at the end of the day as it did when I applied it. \n \nI love how quick and easy it is to apply the Natural Mineral Cover foundation, probably cutting in half the time it usually takes me to apply liquid foundation. I only like a light to medium coverage so because this foundation is buildable it is perfect for starting off lightly and then adding to those areas that need a bit of extra coverage. \n \nThe Natural Mineral Cover foundation has become a favourite of mine for summery days because of how natural it looks and because it feels as though I’m not wearing any foundation. \n \nIf the Nude by Nature Natural Mineral Cover Foundation works on my mature combination skin then I would be inclined to think that this foundation would suit any type of skin. I highly recommend this product particularly as it contains no synthetic ingredients or preservatives and is fragrance-free, vegan-friendly and cruelty-free. A natural product through and through. \n\n

The Nude by Nature mineral cover foundation is a face powder I like to use on the days when I want to wear minimal makeup as it helps to even out my skin tone and while also covering up any redness on my face. It also have SPF 15 to protect your skin which is always important to have when your skin is exposed to the sun. The product comes in a jar and I just lightly dip my powder brush into the pot and then I just swirly it across my face so everything is evenly covered. The coverage is light and won't make your face look like its caked with powder. Ive come across a lot of powders that would make my face really dry and settle into lines or accentuate my pores. With the Nude by Nature powder, I had no complaints. I feel like my face can breathe when I'm wearing it ... MoreThe Nude by Nature mineral cover foundation is a face powder I like to use on the days when I want to wear minimal makeup as it helps to even out my skin tone and while also covering up any redness on my face. In addition to using it as foundation, I like to use it as a finishing/setting powder when I wear liquid foundation. This adds a bit more coverage to my foundation while also preventing the foundation from moving or getting oily. It really keeps everything in place, it keeps my forehead and nose shine free and my makeup always looks more airbrushed when I finish it off with the powder.

This was the first 'real' makeup product I ever used- flashback to my thirteenth Christmas, thanks mum! When I first used it I really loved it and I have been using it on and off ever since and I find I like it as a mineral powder (as I think it's one the best out there) but I can't say it's a holy grail for me...\n\nFINISH: This has a very natural coverage so I would only recommend this powder to those looking for a low-medium coverage. I have found that you can build the coverage up, however because it is quite powdery (and not the most finely milled) I have found that it does not build up well and can look cakey if you apply more than two layers. It is also very matte, although I have quite dry skin I find it doesn't sink into any of my fine layers or cling to ... MoreThis was the first 'real' makeup product I ever used- flashback to my thirteenth Christmas, thanks mum! I have found that you can build the coverage up, however because it is quite powdery (and not the most finely milled) I have found that it does not build up well and can look cakey if you apply more than two layers. It is also very matte, although I have quite dry skin I find it doesn't sink into any of my fine layers or cling to dry patches. Therefore, I would recommend this for any skin type. I would also recommend using a kabuki brush (I use one by NBN and it works really well and I've had it for years and still looks as good as new so would highly recommend!) rather than the applicator it comes with.\n\nUSE: I have also used (and prefer using) this product as a kind of setting powder on top of foundation/tinted moisturiser. I have found that it does not cling to the product underneath, sets my base well and increases the weartime of my makeup. \n\nSHADE RANGE: When I originally used this product there were only three shades but since then NDN have extended their range to eight shades which is slightly better and caters for a wider variety. However, unfortunately if you have deep skin you may struggle finding a good match. \n\nLONGEVITY: On me, if I use the powder alone as my foundation I find it lasts around 6-7 hours before fading- which is honestly pretty good but my skin is quite dry so I don't usually have issues anyway. However, as I mentioned before when I use it as a setting powder I find that it allows my foundation to last at least 3-4 hours longer- so would definitely recommend using it that way!\n\nPACKAGING: The packaging is the major downside of this product. It has a sifter but the sifter has very large holes so the product falls through and collects in the lid, making a mess when you go to use it and it tumbles down onto your nice black jeans... I would not recommend taking this powder travelling either as it just seems to collect even more so in the lid when put on a moving vehicle. However, apart from that, it does not aesthetically appealing and the packaging itself is very sturdy. \n\nINGREDIENTS: I began using this powder again because it has such good, natural ingredients. I have quite sensitive skin as times however this product never irritates my skin or causes any breakouts and would highly recommend if you have sensitive skin.\n\nPRICE: I think the price is very reasonable- mainly because mine has lasted me forever (I'm talking 2 years and it still looks full and I would use it about 4 times a week at the moment). \n

Best product for everyday makeup
22 March 2023

I enjoy using this as a fuss free makeup for everyday wear coverage. It is easy to apply with a buffing brush and it blends in quite easily without looking cakey. I love the even and natural finish it gives my skin. When You are applying this you have to make sure you tap off excess powder from the brush before applying to you face as if you don't you will get particles of powder flying everywhere and staining the clothes you are wearing. It let's your skin breathe and does not block or clog your pores. I love that they have shades to suit my dark Indian skin tone. This foundation also lasts throughout the day without getting blotchy. It gives you a semi matte finish.

Good formula
23 May 2021

Simple formula, beautiful packaging. I got this foundation in shade medium as the MUA thought it is most suitable for my skin tone. At the time I had melasma (visible and dark) and I think she made biggest mistake matching it with the blotchy parts not my natural skin tone. As my melasma faded completely now, and even at the time, shade was way too dark for me! Had to give it away. However formula itself is great for my skin type (combo to oily and huge pores). I like lightest coverage possible , just to blur the pores and reduce shine on my face. And this foundation just did the perfect job. Lasting me all day.

Light but stays in place all day
29 March 2022

I am a big fan of all the Nude by Nature Natural Mineral powders, and I wear them almost every day to work and when out and about on the weekends. I have very oily skin, so during the week I usually apply the powder over the top of a BB cream or thin liquid foundation, and on the weekends, I just apply the powder straight on top of my SPF using a makeup brush. It's fragrance free so doesn’t have much of a scent and builds well. The powder is very fine and easy to get into any cracks or pores that you want to cover. It also contains SPF 15 which is a bonus. I find it stays in place all day but is also easy to remove at the end of the day with a bit of micellar water on a reusable make up pad. The only downside is that they can be a little messy to apply (as with all loose powders), but I find you can clean any up by using a lint brush if needed. I’m sure it is going to remain one of my makeup staples for a long time to come.

New smaller packaging for same price as before
4 January 2022

New smaller packaging for the same price. Has zinc a natural sunscreen. I have used this product long term for years. I use this brand in three colours, one for a concealer then also as a foundation in the same colour. A second slightly darker colour for eye area concealer. Then a third darker colour as eyeshadow and on my nose. There is a fair skin colour which is more pink based but I use the other. Great range of skin tones. Doesn't feel heavy or oily. It helps me conceal pimples or scars, or grey eye area or blue vein of the eye area. I put a little product inside the container lid then put my brush in the container lid, then I tap the brushes on the container lid so there is less dusty mess or waste. Great matte look cos I have oily skin. Sometimes I top it up but not too much on the eye area or it creates a wrinkled look. Less is more. A great natural look however this depends on which colours u try. I hope this helps someone :)
