The next time I used the third setting and I noticed immediately after using it on my neck my skin was red and I did feel a muscle twitch in my ear. When I used it on my face I also got a bit redness and a few zaps when the gel was drying up. The redness doesn’t bother my because my skin is very reactive to touch or heat, I just have very fair and sensitive skin. The zaps also don’t bother me they don’t hurt if anything I feel like a muscle twitch in my eye and it’s normal because I know it’s just because of the micro-currents. I did notice that my face looked less puffy and more firm overall and I do think it is a short-term affective product. If you want it to be long-term affective you do need to use it more often and consistently. I do like the gel it comes with but you can definitely use any other gel product as a replacement because it is quite pricey. I also think the size is very convenient for traveling or just having it around rather than the full size. Overall I love this product it will be with me for years and I’m glad I have an app as well to keep track of my progress and have more details and tricks on how to use the product.

If you have concerns of aging or sagging skin, are interested in cosmetic procedures but don’t want to bite that bullet, or are simply interested in a microcurrent device, this is the one!

Nice Addition To My Skin Care Routine

For anyone else out there who has been having trouble pairing the NuFACE mini +, I found that when I was trying to pair in my bedroom with multiple other bluetooth devices there was interference (bluetooth outlet plugs and humidifier). Once I moved out of my bedroom, I was able to successfully pair the device to the app! I probably tried pairing it 20x before figuring this out - even did troubleshooting steps and tried resetting the device and recharging it for another 12 hours but nothing worked. Come to find out there was just interference! Once I got it connected to the app I enjoyed using this device and it was very user friendly! I have some *thoughts* about this product, and despite the low rating, I didn't actually hate the product nor do I not recommend it. First, the NuFACE Mini+ device itself. I used this about every other day for three weeks. As you can see from the images, I don't think it really did much. None of the fine lines on my forehead went away, and I didn't notice any lifting or tightening around my check bones or eyes. My biggest gripe with this device, though, is that it isn't something you can easily integrate into you daily routine (despite what they want you to think). It's not something that you swap out for something else you use (think a new toothpaste), add into your routine but takes no extra effort (like a serum before your moisturizer), or something that maybe takes some time to set up but saves you time and energy in the end (like a robotic vacuum). This is an investment that you have to work to see the results of (at least 5 if not 15 minutes a day, every day). You also have to know what you are doing to make sure you don't mess up your face. The point of this is to lift and remove wrinkles, but if you keep using the device at the wrong angles, you could end up doing damage to your face. Overall, I think there are a few people who would benefit from this the most: - if you have visibly sagging skin - if you are seriously considering plastic surgery to lift or remove fat from your face - if you have tried a microcurrent facial, liked the results, and are okay with doing this treatment yourself on a daily basis This is not for people who want an easy-to-use skin care device (like a facial cleaning device) or can't commit to adding something into their daily skin care routine that will actually take time to do. For all the effort it is to use this and with little payoff, the NuFACE Mini+ is not something I am going to continue using on a regular basis. I will pull it out a few weeks in advance of an event to help my bone structure pop for photos (I'll just be using it with a different conductive gel that my skin doesn't react to).
