Nulon Pro-Strength Octane Booster 500ml PSOB

I have a 1978 Triumph Bonneville motorbike, which, unlike other older bikes, mine does not like any form of unleaded. It runs rough and pings on load. The original octane rating for the bike is 102, which I believe is the old leaded super. So, with 95 RON and 12mls of octane booster per litre, she runs like a clock, I have a grey exhaust and honey gold spark plugs. I have been told many a time I am wasting my money, but the bike runs excellent on the octane booster, so fingers crossed this doesn't go off the market.

Have used it for over a year on my engine that was USA built to run on premium unleaded only to find our premium is not as good compared to the stuff in the States. I can verify it works as I did a back to back test. Drove the car with 98 premium and could hear it ping/pink under hard acceleration. Stopped the car and added 250ml to the approx 30litres of fuel I had in the tank and repeated the same driving procedure with no hint of ping/pink. The only residue I found was the brown/red colouring on the spark plugs but that is normal as this is active ingredient (lead replacement).

Not sure on other cars but in my turbo Subaru the octane booster certainly gives the car more raw power. TBH, the petrol system cleaner by nulon does almost the same job but cleans at the same time. I love then both just wish it was cheaper.
