This is a excellent cleaner,i had not heard of James before,but i need a smaller one for upstairs. He his just as powerful as Henry and if i had known aboot him before would have got him instead as hes a bit lighter. He does not have automatic rewind for the cable,but you dont have to unwind all the cable anyway so i think hes very good

Pros: Just love my "James"! I'm 62 and wish I had bought one of these earlier. Great machine and the flex is long enough to do the whole of the staircase.Cons: No absolutely happy!
This James vacuum cleaner is amazing!!!It doesn’t matter whether you are on carpet, vinyl or laminate it just adapts brilliantly!!!The only downside to this product I would say is that the small brush attachment keeps loosing the hair from the brush…bit annoying, but other than that a top quality machine.
Pros: Relatively lightweight. Works well and does the job!Cons: A little disappointing that this doesn't have the retracting/winding up mechanism to tidy the lead - but guess they have to save cost somewhere. The material felt less sturdy than previous Henry's but it's actually quite Ok and probably helps to reduce the weight.
I've had a Henry and a Hetty in the past and both have been great . When I felt I needed a replacement I looked at other makes but felt the Numatic Was The best value. As I'm a self employed private cleaner, I want a machine that's powerful and reliable. I chose a James this time as it was lighter in weight. I wasn't disappointed. I also bought the Airo head which has enhanced the power. The machine is very light and moves easily around. The handle is easy to grab hold of. The only negative comment is that the cord has to be wound up by hand which is OK but when you undo it to use the next time it tends to curl into a knot. It needs to be straightened out first. Would recommend this product
Pros: So light and easy to use with super suction. I’ve had many expensive hoovers and nothing works as good as this one.Cons: Could have a retractable lead function but I knew I’d didn’t before I ordered
