I love Nurofen for long lasting fever and pain treatment.It has a pleasant flavour and lasts longer than paracetamol. Just make sure your children have eaten!The syringe is easy to use and to read.

The only pain relief my 8 year old will ever take. Was out of stock during peak Covid times but was restocked very quickly at Chemist Warehouse so snapped up with an online order!

Easy to dispense effective pain relief for children. Comes with a user friendly really handy syringe with indicators to measure amount when dispensing it so you always know the dosage you are giving your child. Syringe can be inserted into the top of the bottle so that it is much easier (and less messier) when dispensing. Dosage in weight and years listed on label on side of the bottle. Comes in two flavours strawberry or orange. You will find your child(ren) will prefer taste of one more than the other. However it is medicine after all so it’s not supposed to be super tasty just provide effective pain relief. :-) What I love most is the syringe is dishwasher safe so you can sterilize it after use for the next time.

I have given my 3 children Nurofen 5-12 yrs for several years now when they have been sick. It is fast working and very effective. It brings temps down quickly and relieves their discomfort. They really like the orange flavour which definitely helps.
Good size bottle. Clear instructions, syringe provided. Bright colours are great for kids. Would have preferred it in a 200mg/5ml dose though.
My son is on the autism spectrum and is EXTREMELY fussy when it comes to flavours and textures. I used to dread him getting a fever or headache because he would flat out refuse to take panadol or spew it back up immediately after administering it to him . Nurofen has changed this. I add it to his yoghurt and he has no problem taking this and keeping it down. He wasn't aware in the beginning but I told him after a few different times that he felt better after eating the yoghurt and Nurofen and he realised it was the Nurofen making him feel better. He now takes it easily alone washed down with a juice. Literally life changing stuff.
Great for fevers and headaches can be taken on an empty stomach and love how fast it works takes about 15 mins to start relieving symptoms of flu and colds teething pains etc
My children love this flavour compared to the strawberry. They don't think of it as yucky medicine. Easy to draw up with the syringe and it's clearly labelled. Works a treat for my girls with temperatures.
My child did not feel that there was less pain after using it as a pain reliever for wound dressing changes. He disliked the flavor so next time he chose not to use the medicine before the change. Not sure how it works on fever since we never used it for that purpose.
This is my go to brand for fever relief of my toddler. He feels better immediately with no reactions whatsoever. What I really love about Nurofen is it also alleviates pain. Parents, give this a try!
