My wife is a fiend for chocolate hazelnut spreads so this easily caught my attention. The difficulty is keeping to a strict, healthy diet of no refined oils and still finding tasty treats such as hazelnut spreads. I was just ecstatic to finally find a clean version of hazelnut spread I personally have always been indifferent to hazelnut spreads that you find at any local store, but when I tried FINE RAWs hazelnut spread my mind was blown with this amazing toasty, buttery, robust flavor from this simple spread. I realize now that everyone else has been doing it wrong when it comes to hazelnuts and thats why Ive never really cared for hazelnut spread in the past. Well, now Im somewhat of a fan, thanks to FINE RAW I dont imagine we could ever go back to the other ... MoreMy wife is a fiend for chocolate hazelnut spreads so this easily caught my attention. As a parent, I can't help but share my enthusiasm for Nutella, the delightful hazelnut spread that has become a cherished part of my daughter's morning routine. Each day, she eagerly awaits her breakfast, knowing that a drizzle of Nutella over her warm waffles will make her smile. I have to admit, we've explored other spreads in our quest for the perfect accompaniment to her waffles, but Nutella has unquestionably emerged as the victor. The moment the jar is opened, a rich, chocolaty aroma fills the air, and I can practically see my daughter's eyes light up with anticipation. As an American, I grew up eati...

As an American, I grew up eating toast with butter and jam, peanut butter, or maybe even peanut butter and jelly if I was feeling a little wild. I remember trying Nutella for the first time in my high school French class, and it was obviously delicious - like any free snack during school! I begged my mom to buy a jar the next time she went grocery shopping, and like many things young people MUST have in the moment - yes, this Nutella too sat on the shelf until it expired. I may have used a single dip or two.Nutella seems to sell itself, for those who love chocolate and hazelnut spreads, it is simply the best product on the market by far. I may have used a single dip or two.Nutella seems to sell itself, for those who love chocolate and hazelnut spreads, it is simply the best product on the market by far. The texture of good old-fashioned American peanut butter, but with a delicious blend of creamy chocolate and savory hazelnut. It has all the hallmarks of an instant hit, yet for some reason it seems that American palates just aren’t eager for it, in lieu of our traditional favorites at least. Perhaps due in part to the price of a single jar, which seems to average always slightly more expensive than brand name peanut butter. And at least for me personally, while it may only be about a dollar and some change extra, I simply can’t justify the expense to myself knowing the likelihood that I will ever eat it.It’s not that I don’t find Nutella delicious, I suppose it’s simply that I am in a happy, committed relationship to my other-butters. If you’ve never tried it, and you like chocolate and hazelnut, absolutely give it a try if you have the opportunity. Raid the kitchen of your friend who just studied abroad in Europe! Or spring for the small ~ 13 oz jar.But consider hosting a small party, if you grew up in the United States. Because you’ll probably like it, but you’ll probably not be able to finish a whole jar without help :)

This is a very sweet hazelnut and chocolate spread. It tastes a lot like chocolate, but there are definitely hints of hazel nut to it. If you like sweet milk chocolate, I would almost guarantee you will like this. If you are more of a salty food kind of person, or like sweet things but not extremely so, find a way to try it first. If you compare it with Almond butter (the one I have handy right now) you will find that the sugar only adds about 20 calories a serving, not as much as some people might fear. And if you have a child that hates breakfast, you should try giving them this one on whole grain toast or waffles. The flavor of whole grain combines really well with the flavor of nutella, and I prefer it like this than with white toast. So it could end up being a ... MoreThis is a very sweet hazelnut and chocolate spread. The flavor of whole grain combines really well with the flavor of nutella, and I prefer it like this than with white toast. So it could end up being a really good breakfast treat. It has a lot less sodium than Almond butter, but also only 1/3 of the protein it. I wouldn't really recommend it as a significant source of protein. If you are looking at it as a substitute for Peanut butter or Almond butter, this is more about the fact that it will make your kid (or yourself) eat other stuff that is healthy by making things like whole grain yummy, than a good source of protein that could support you or your child as breakfast on its own.Overall it’s delicious, and can easily be found in your local grocery store at a fair price.
