Let’s be clear…It’s not a vita mix, but it does the job while I’m traveling and I imagine would be fantastic for someone who needs to keep one at work.Chia seeds are still a little coarse, but for the price and the size of it, fantastic job. I will probably switch to ground golden flax seeds to add a fiber/omega boost or soak flax/chia seeds before grinding. Does the job with ice, acia frozen pack, frozen chunks of fruit ( banana, avocado, berries, pineapple, mango) mixed with greens, nut butters, etc. Blends protein powders in thoroughly.I have not had to use the plunger (included), but a nice add. I add the proteins and the probiotics after blending everything else, and then blend the powders in gently on low to protect the fragile amino acids and bacteria. It’s much quieter than my Vita mix, also a plus when in a hotel room or I imagine, at work. I tried blending ahead of time and keeping smoothie with freezer pack and insulated bag. Nasty brown smoothie is thing of the past. Much nicer to drink a freshly blended one! Well done Nutribullet! The cups included and the blender jug are a bit more fragile than I would like, but just be careful not to over fill or over tighten the blade attachment and don’t drop the containers on the ceramic tile floor. Probably won’t survive that. Easy clean up by hand. I also think blades stay sharper without dishwasher use.Have had for a little more than a month. Have used at least 3X per week and performs as expected. Highly recommend as a portable smoothie machine. I have even made a frozen skinny marguerita in it. For the price, it’s exactly what I was looking for in a travel size blender. It’s a keeper!

The Nutribullet select is a powerful little machine. I like that it has different speeds instead of just an on and off button. I chose it because I like the handles on the cups that fit it. I was worried about leaking while blending because there were several comments that says it leaks. I don't think it leaks but since you turn the cup upside down and the lid doesn't come up around it, it makes it look as if it is going to run out the bottom. I haven't had any leaking, but I tend to make sure the blade part is screwed on tight. I would suggest buying an extra cup or two because you only have one to use besides the pitcher and it always seems to be dirty.

I bought this blender on black Friday from Kohl's, 2021. I hand washed and dried the blender pitcher and lid and put it together per the instructions. I made a very simple smoothie that was average. Not really thick, not super thin. Normal smoothie consistency. Thinner than yogurt. Not Greek yogurt, which is thick, but regular yogurt. It worked great! I was really pleased. I cared for the machine as directed. I pulled it out the next day to make another smoothie and it would not turn on. I tried multiple outlets in my house. I tried other objects in the same outlets. They all worked. The blender I just wasted money on, did not. I'm disappointed because I have been using the regular nutribullet with great success for years. I should have saved the money I put towards this into savings to buy a couple hundred dollar Vitamix. Maybe this was just a defunct product, but I would not recommend this blender to anyone.

While looking to replace our old NutriBullet (that we loved), I stumbled upon this gem. I like that it holds a just a bit more than the regular nutribullet, now I can share. Very powerful. Looks good on the counter. Very pleased with this new blender. After having a heart attack, I knew I had to get back to a healthier diet. I now make healthy breakfast smoothies and love it! I start with liquid base of either carrot juice, pomegranate juice, coconut water or whatever healthy juice I have on hand. I add a handful of super greens (kale, spinach, chard), a handful of raw cashews, some flax seeds, a bit of raw oats, possibly some greek yogurt, ginger, turmeric, chocolate protein powder, frozen fruit (I love frozen cherries in this), banana, other fresh fruit, avocado, ... MoreWhile looking to replace our old NutriBullet (that we loved), I stumbled upon this gem. If its healthy, put it in! I feel very invigorated after my morning smoothie. It is hard for me to not overfill it, I sometimes (most of the time) get carried away adding goodness. I ordered this blender as the price was only $69 on Walmart.com and the traditional nutribullet was more expensive. Very happy with this blender.
I’ve owned several nutribullets over the years. I started with the original and upgraded to the “next-gen select”. I have a “blended” opinion regarding this new model. While I love the accessories, new cup design and the ability to select speed/type, I DO NOT LIKE THE BLADES….. I’ve used this daily, for one after workout protein shake (ingredients: ice, almond milk, powder) nothing crazy… I have taken extreme care regarding the durability of the blades bearings being an issue in previous reviews. I have to say, everything you read about the blades bearings is true. They are terrible, I mean the worst…. They burn out, leaving a brown rust looking substance on the underside of the blade attachment, and the way you know it needs to be replaced besides this residue, is ... MoreI’ve owned several nutribullets over the years. I have to say, everything you read about the blades bearings is true. They are terrible, I mean the worst…. They burn out, leaving a brown rust looking substance on the underside of the blade attachment, and the way you know it needs to be replaced besides this residue, is the noise. It gets super load and sounds like it can’t blend anymore. I’ve had to replace twice in 8 months. At $20 per blade it’s still doable but give me a break. For $100 blender plus 3-4 blade attachment replacements in one year (depending on your usage) you might want consider looking for the original version or a totally different manufacturer all together. The 1000w motor sounds good but if the bearings can’t hold up to the power, what good is the better motor. Close to a good blender but could use a better blade attachment.
Okay, so previously I had a magic bullet, and going from 250 Wattage to 1000 is a Big jump!I watched lots of reviews before I decided on this particular blender.I've had it 2 days and I've blended a regular frozen fruit smoothie, 2 milkshakes with toppings, and a breakfast smoothie with frozen fruit, avocado, greens and nuts. Here's what I like about it:-The extract mode is great, no stopping and shaking the blender to get it all down to the bottom because this mode pulses for you.-its great for nuts and chia seeds (the crunchies) and blends it all down evenly.-Makes Thickkkk smoothies! With very little liquid and the tamper, was able to make a Very thick smoothie. Frozen yogurt consistency.-the bottom has finger grips and is so much easier to screw on ... MoreOkay, so previously I had a magic bullet, and going from 250 Wattage to 1000 is a Big jump!I watched lots of reviews before I decided on this particular blender.I've had it 2 days and I've blended a regular frozen fruit smoothie, 2 milkshakes with toppings, and a breakfast smoothie with frozen fruit, avocado, greens and nuts. Here's what I like about it:-The extract mode is great, no stopping and shaking the blender to get it all down to the bottom because this mode pulses for you.-its great for nuts and chia seeds (the crunchies) and blends it all down evenly.-Makes Thickkkk smoothies! I like to have a great assortment of kitchen gadgets and appliances as I love to cook and try new recipes. This blender is smaller than classic blenders, and I really enjoy the size of this one as it fits perfectly on my countertop. I have been using this blender daily from smoothies, to blending up foods for salsas and sauces that I have been obsessed with making. It comes with a big blender pitcher that has a pour spout as well as a lid that is nice for larger amounts of liquid or food as it holds up to 32 ounces. The travel cup is really handy, and I also like to use it for water consumption through out my day as well. I like that I can chop up chunky vegetables and fruits using the pulse function on this blender. It really saves me a lot of work when making sauces and salsa, as it gets the perfect consistency and easily too. There is a high and low setting for the blender, as well as the included pulse and extraction functions. This blender can handle it all with it's 1000 watt motor, it puts all my other blenders I have owned to shame as the results with this one, are consistent and high quality. The lid is very handy on the pitcher, as you can open it up while blending and throw in more veggies and fruits, or push it down with the included tamper stick that let's you press ingredients down if needed. The blender also has a suction cup bottom that is very appreciated as it does not move at all which is nice, when there are kids in the kitchen! I love this blender and recommend it to anyone who is looking for a durable high quality blender that has met every single one of my needs.
I really like this blender a lot. It blends everything I put in it very smoothly. It has a lot of nice features and it is easy to use. The clean up is very simple, easy to get little strawberry seeds out of it too. The blender is powerful for blending nuts, ice, and various other hard things. I never have to worry that my baby will accidentally get a large chunk of fruit in her smoothie. It is very quick and efficient. It has multiple settings and you can start and stop a cycle without removing the cup which makes it super useful and versatile. Or if you want to blend different sauces or something you can keep them separate and can wait on the dishes until later. I highly recommend this Nutribullet!
This NutriBullet Select blender is the perfect appliance for all my blending and smoothie needs! This is a personal blender that takes up much less space than a regular blender, yet has all the power and convenience you'd ever need. To start off with, this comes with a really awesome recipe book that I've used multiple times for yummy new things to eat. The blender itself is powerful enough to crush cashews in order to make my weekly cashew butter. There is a large 32 ounce pitcher for blending, as well as a smaller 24 ounce handled cup that can be used on the go. Everything is simple and straightforward to use. I love that nothing takes more than a minute to blend in order to get a great consistency. It's all so quick and easy! The to-go cup even has a lid that you can use for on the go. I use the larger pitcher when I make smoothies at home, as well as my nut butters. My kids love the consistency and flavor of the smoothies I make with this. As a stay at home mom, this makes meal prep simple, fast, and easy. The cups can even go in the dishwasher if you want an easy clean up. I personally hand wash them, but it's nice to have this option.I'm looking forward to experimenting more with this and making some sauces and dips. This is a great personal blender that takes up little counter space but packs a powerful punch!
This is perfect in every way! I could go on and on about how useful this is. Firstly, it is perfect for a quick drink or serving for one or two. Secondly,it takes up so little room on the counter top, that you will want to just leave it out for quick access. Thirdly, it blends in seconds, and things come out so smooth, with no lumps. Fourthly, clean up is a breeze. In addition, it makes grab and go drinks! We love that about it. In a matter of minutes, one can have freshly prepared drinks, and also be out the door fast. I have been using it to prepare baby food. Because the size is perfect for making smaller amounts, I do not need to drag out a bigger unit. I just place the food items in it and blend. If you are looking for a unit that doesn't take up a lot of room, works wonderfully, is convenient ,and quick to use, this may be just what you are looking for. It is very versatile; from making drinks for grab and go to baby food. It is our favorite blender!
