This is an all new design from prior Nutribullet models, using new cups and blades (the old cups and blades will not work).Overall our experience with is blender was good. To start with, the unit had a burning smell since the first time I used it. It would leave chunks of frozen fruit and did not perform as well as my original nutribullet that was years old. I contacted nutribullet multiple times, by email, chat, and phone. I followed all the care instructions but the smell got worse and the unit did not perform well. There are two blend "buttons" The solid circle turns the blender on at a continuous blend. The dashed circle is for pulsing the contents. There is an easy to follow illustration in the recipe guide with how you should stack your ingredients for optimal blending. We have tried out and enjoyed a couple of the recipes provided in the guide. The "PB & Yay Smoothie" was a hit and a great way to sneak in some greens for picky eaters. The blender does a great job blending frozen ingredients. Using the pulse button allowed for me to get to the consistency needed. Clean up is pretty easy. I just add some water and a drop of soap and pulse it a couple of times until clean. When storing away, I screw the blade base to a cup to keep the blades and myself safe.
Purchased in Feb 24 and after a few month's use, I can say this product is inferior to its predecessors in almost every way. The manufacturer's claim that this product is quiet is false. It is much, much louder than the Nutribullet Pro, which I also own. The suction cups are nice if you want to walk away while your blender runs, but they stick to everything! It would be nice to have the option to engage the suction cups when needed. The blending cup is way too narrow. Food gets stuck at the top, preventing consistent blend and it's nearly impossible to clean, even for medium sized hands. It is not worth the extra cost and I regret my purchase, wishing I'd just purchased another Nutribullet Pro.
3.5 stars. I swapped out my older model NutriBullet for this new model, but I should have properly looked at it in store instead of buying blindly online. Totally my fault. Motor, blade and general function are the same if not, slightly better as all the other older bullets, but my biggest disappointment was that the jars are significantly smaller and hold less than the older models. This would be a fantastic size for singles or couples. Even family of 3. Sadly for me, I need to fill 2 rounds to make enough juice for my family of 4-5. Great product but keep the size in mind depending on your household.
Quieter than the previous models (although still loud, all blenders are) and comes with suction cups at the bottom of the base. Very easy to twist in and when you see the indicator light come on, you know that it's secured properly to the base. Came with a variety of cup sizes. The lid doesn't "click" like traditional so just ensure you lock it in properly. The staff were friendly but the product wasn't correctly placed in the right display section which made it hard to find. I had to double check the price with the cashier as they forgot to scan the Myer One code(on their bench top) to gain the additional discount. Always check the price online to compare!

Another small delight is the recipe book, and it definitely wetted my appetite.I will note that the cord isn’t overly long, which is awesome for us because it sits very near an outlet, but if your kitchen counters aren’t quite so conveniently powered, it may give you a bit of trouble.All in all, we are very pleased with the Nutribullet Ultra, as it looks fantastic in our kitchen, is modern in design and function (with the glowing power settings), is relatively quiet (for a blender), and is very sturdily crafted.
