I take astaxanthin, and zeaxanthin, to help ward off macular degeneration as my father had it and he went completely blind, and now 2 of my 3 sisters have been diagnosed with it. It is a powerful antioxidant supplement derived from microalgae and it has many benefits: reduces oxidative stress, supports skin health, helps protect against UV damage., supports eye health, improving overall vision, can aid in recovery from exercise by reducing muscle soreness and improving endurance. After just 2 weeks, I saw some solid results. My skin felt softer, I got a tan faster, and it gave me some UV protection. Plus, I am feeling more energetic and my muscles are recovering quicker from workouts.Good value, high quality supplement. Recommended.

This product has for sure made a difference in my daily life. I have taken it for a full week so far it's been good to my body. First few days I took it during the early morning hours on an empty stomach and notice that I was very sleepy at work due to being too relaxed. I then chose to take it at night right before bed and bam huge difference! I slept like a baby and woke up with tons of energy and ready to concur the world. However I am active person who doesn't get enough sleep therefore, this helped a bunch. What might work for me might not work for others.... it's a must try :)

A friend of mine is a research scientist and told me about Astaxanthin. His research showed a low dose, 4 mg, helps with rheumatoid arthritis. I had my first RA flare up and felt like I needed both hips and knees replaced. I couldn’t get an appointment with a rheumatologist for over a month. My appointment is in three days. So, 2 1/2 weeks ago, I started taking this and it has helped immensely. Only one hip is bothering me now and not as bad as it was before I started taking it. It has to be taken with a fat (lipid), so I take it with a couple of TBSP of peanut butter every day. I will be buying more!
I'm always trying new stuff for joint pain and this stuff has helped in less than a week. Even though it's algae unstead of fish oil, I still had the smell of fish in my nose for the first few days and can't explain it. Small pill,no taste,taken with other supplements fist thing in the morning. Shoulder,knee,hip,and wrist pain seems to be about half of what it used to be. This is a key ingredient in much more expensive supplements,but I wasn't spending that much money to try something out. I may double the dose in the next two weeks to see if it helps or just gives me more fish smell. Overall happy with my first week.
the product from nutricost has high quality. its ingredient is astaxanthin extracted from natural resources. each pill size is reasonable, making it easy to swallow. each pill contains 6 mg content, quite large. astaxanthin is great for eyes, which you can feel the improvement right after you take it. astaxanthin is also a strong antioxidant. highly recommended!
