I am a personal trainer and bodybuilder type fitness person. The amount of pills you have to take to get good dose (for my purposes) is crazy. Optimal dosage: 5-10 grams of arginine. That means 10 pills at minimum. Citrulline is 6-8 grams so you can't even get close to it. I will stick with my bulk powder.

I think it works for me. L-arginine helps to lower the blood pressure and in some cases of erectile dysfunction. I can't say for sure but I have noticed improvement when it comes to certain areas of my life. Not sure if I can fully credit those capsules, but I'll give it benefit of the doubt.
L-arginine and l-citrulline are two amino acids that may play a role in nitric oxide production in the blood. So, there could be potential circulatory benefits, including increased "pump" when working out, as well as helping out with "manly" performance issues. I take both as part of my pre-workout. I can't necessarily say that these amino acids provide me with a huge boost, because I combine them with other supplements, but they seem to be a part of it.Nutricost seems to be a good brand. I have researched them and their products have passed some independent tests. However, the one time I reached out to their customer service, I didn't hear anything back.
Thoses amino acids are very essential in conjunction with creatine monohydrate and whey protein. The six star name brand lost this battle. 2 Amino Power! A-1.
These supplements have some nice ingredients in them that are known to aid in better blood flow & increase energy levels. Ever since I started taking these I have noticed my coffee intake has decreased and I am able to make it through my day with less caffeine in general. It's not a huge decrease, but they do appear to help. Everyone is different and results will vary I am sure, however, they did appear to work for me. I felt no side effects from taking these. All in all, if you are looking for a natural way to try to increase energy, these have my recommendation as something to try!
