This brand makes taking Thiamine much easier. Other brands are so stinky it makes them hard to take. Also these are easy to swallow. My doctor recommended 500 mg daily to help alleviate neuropathy pain and this has been so helpful in reducing the frequency and intensity of flare ups.

I take a lot of supplements for various things. Some recent bloodwork revealed that I have a B1 deficiency, which can contribute to my peripheral neuropathy, as well as other conditions.I find Nutricost's Vitamin B1 supplement has very little taste or aftertaste, which you can't say about many supplements. I believe it's helpful and doing what I need for it to do. It's reasonably priced, considering each capsule has 500 mgs.

I cannot yet review..as I have not taken Vitamin B-1 long enough..But I believe it has helped me..strengthened me and given me more energyMust take it as a trial for 2 wksCannot overdose as Vitamin B-1 is a water soluble vitamin any excess which may be is excretedI recommend it highly. I normally try to avoid writing very negative or complaining reviews. However, this issue is too important to let slide. The ingredient label pictured with this Nutricost Vitamin B1 does not match the label on the bottle I received. The bottle I received contains rice flour, which I am allergic too. The website label doesn't mention this. So, to whom it may concern: please update the ingredients picture on this page so that it reflects the version of your product you are shipping out. Returning for a refund.
I found out I had Hashimito's recently, and Thiamine is one of the top supplements needed to help with my energy levels. I take them every morning when I wake up, and I can tell a definite difference from when I didn't take them to now that I have. My energy levels have gone up 3-4 fold. Since I take the mg determined by my weight, I do go through a good amount every month, and I definitely get a good buy with Nutricost. They're easy to swallow and don't have an aftertaste. This isn't the only supplement I use from them, and I'm always happy to recommend them to people. I'll be a lifetime buyer!
I use this to keep the mosquitos off me. I take 2 caps 3-4 times a day (depending on how much I'm going to be outside) and voila! Not only do I get bitten less, if at all, but the reaction if I do get a bite is nowhere near as bad without the B1. If mosquitos love you like they love me, I would definitely recommend this product during mosquito season! I'm in Oklahoma, so you can probably image the humidity here...and I got to say...THIS WORKS!!!
I’m not sure if this is working or what the effects are to be completely honest but I take them because I drink alcohol sometimes and I don’t want to have any poor lasting effects from it. However, I take this as a part of my daily vitamin regimen and I’m happy about it. I feel energized but also take other B vitamins. They taste pretty bad though and as soon as I open the bottle, I get hit with a nice large whiff of the capsules.
For over a year I always felt like I was in a fog, it didn't matter how much sleep I got or anything. I tried different supplements, but they did nothing. I then found an article about vitamin B1, and all the effects of low vitamin B1, so I bought a bottle and tried it, and it worked. No more brain fog, I don't feel itchy all over, and I feel more alert. This stuff works and I highly recommend it. For the first time I can actually say that I will be buying more.
I was on this for 3 months and my mood drastically changed and I didn’t know why. This has made me sad, angry and violent. I didn’t realize what was causing it until I did some research on B vitamins side effects. So, I’ve stopped taking it and am back to my normal mellow self. I know this side effect won’t happen to everyone but wanted to share this info for anyone that might have the same experience. I don’t want to rate the product poorly because it’s not the company just my reaction to all B vitamins.
