Despite the current unpopularity of added sugar in anything, nuun endurance is made for times when consuming simple carbs helps way more than it hurts. I find stevia, sorbitol, etc. which are in most other electrolyte mixes (in lieu of the added sugar) to be hard on my stomach, but this product sits very well with me. If you struggle to digest solid food while exerting yourself this product is for you. I just wished more stores carried it.

As always my Nuun product delivered on flavor and performance. My Nuun endurance had a great orange flavor which was lightly sweet and didn’t taste fake. It kept my fueled and hydrated on my long bike ride this weekend without causing me to feel overloaded with sugar. The only thing I need is for this to come in a bigger size.

The taste of strawberry lemonade flavor is light, refreshing, and delicious; nothing like the heavy, overly sweet flavor of Gatorade. I save this mix for extended periods of sweaty exercise, because it’s mostly various forms of sugar, but that’s what you need when you’re dripping with sweat all day. I drank four water bottles of this when I hiked Devils Path in August, and now I make sure to carry extra mix in a container in my pack in case I run out in the middle of a hike. I bought a container of this in order to try it out before an upcoming marathon where it will be at the water stations. For long runs, I normally stick with gels, water, and sports drinks (in varying ratios depending on length of run/weather/etc). This product does seem to do its job of providing hydration, electrolytes, and some carbs. However, I didn’t really like the flavor. It tasted watered down (even though I followed the directions) and it didn’t taste particularly refreshing. Plus, the flavor I got (citrus mango) had this aftertaste like mint. If you like mint, that’s fine, but I personally hate it, so that after taste wasn’t enjoyable. I’ll probably finish what I bought and, if I find I need it on race day, I’ll grab a cup at the water stations. But I don’t ... First of all the stuff taste absolutely wonderful. I actually look forward to drinking it. Second, I definitely feel a difference when I either drink this before or during a run or bike. It has minimal caffeine, but I don’t normally drink caffeine, so I definitely feel an extra energy burst. This is one of the products that I come back for again and again.

I chose to try Nuun off a recommendation and that it was supposed be low in sugar. I am super disappointed that the quiz recommended in endurance , which has 15 g of sugar. Now I have two canisters of it that I probably won’t use or won’t use very often. Nuun needs to fix the quiz so that it doesn’t recommend sugary supplements.
