I thought at times the overdrive and distortion amps were a little too low in volume. It would be great if they could have also included a tuner. I’ve had it for about two weeks and have recommended it to several people, and my wife loves using it as well for practice. For the amount paid, this it’s a no-brainer and well worth it. Great sound and easy edit from the phone app.Built it drums for practice/warmup.It also uses backing tracks but I haven't figured out how to have them play through the plug (they play in the phone). Also have another brand plug amp, this sound much better with added effects and multiple voicings.Rechargeable makes it better than my other battery unit.Could easily be a 5 star, except for the confusion with the backing track( not explained well) and possible longevity issues with the battery down the road.

I am not an experienced electric guitar player, and I'm still learning guitar. I don't have an amp, and my guitar isn't the best either. Also, most of my practice time happens later at night. So I don't really want anyone to hear me playing...for various reasons!! I love this headphone amp it is absolutely the most perfect product for my needs! It's easy to use, I just need to learn how to do the settings because I'm unfamiliar with amp settings... But I am learning! But the device itself is easy to use and it was easy to connect to Bluetooth with my phone and get that started. I'm really happy I found this!

I thought at times the overdrive and distortion amps were a little too low in volume. It would be great if they could have also included a tuner. NUX Mighty Plug is a very cool gadget, easy-to-use and the phone/tablet, Android app is great for tweaking your guitars voice to the sound you desire, I have only had it for about 3 hours now and already very familiar with the Mighty Plug and the app. There are many reviews on YouTube that will teach you to use it in no time. The sound may not be 100% perfect but let's face it they have put a guitar amplifier and many effects on the end of a plug which isn't much bigger than a matchbox Worth the money I'm sure I'm going to have a lot of fun with it
I compared this with the Fender Mustang Micro and although similar for the money the NUX MP is on even par. Great with headphone and just as good to run through a "dry sound" amp. Can even be used as a guitar midi interface for direct PC use. I have knocked a star off for no built in tuner but no big deal. Get them while you can at this price, you wont be disappointed.
I was looking at the Fender unit and compared it to the NUX Mighty Plug. I purchased the NUX hands down! What really sold me was being able to use the app on my phone to control ALL parameters. On the Fender all you have is the buttons on the unit itself, way too much fussing around with buttons while you are playing and trying to find the right sounds, FX, and the NUX offers much more control over everything just by using the app on your phone. Simple to Bluetooth and your off and running. Sounds Great with any headphones or earbuds, you can't use Bluetooth earbuds though. Took an 1/8" to 1/8" cable from the NUX to an aux input on an amp just to see how easy it was to hear the sounds through an amp. Just as good as good as anything that's built into an amp or ... I use if for Bass guitar, far superior to Vox AmPlug MK 2 Bass and cheaper Bassment which both have a lot of background hiss (and poorer sound in my opinion), although it is move expensive. Takes a bit of getting used to having to use the App for settings etc but so much more versatile, check out the 'Mightier Amp' app as an alternative to the official 'Mighty Amp' app. Bluetooth connectivity for audio (jam tracks) a big plus. Design is good, when plugged in it is very unobtrusive and does not get in the way. I only use it for playing with headphones so can't comment on Audio Out/Recording features. Can't see me using Vox AmPlug Bass again!
For someone like me who likes to travel light, this thing is amazing. There's not many sounds I can't get out of it. It's has such an excellent range of amps and effects that you can combine and enjoy to the n'th degree. Love it!
Great little headphone amp. I leave it connected to my bass so it is easy to pickup and play. Very handy that it has bluetooth so you can play along with your favourite tracks. Built in battery seems to last a long time.
