I bought this Lip Balm encouraged by good opinions that it is a cheaper option than the Lanaige mask, which I love. This product is good but not amazing. The smell is very nice, although I expected a stronger rose aroma. The texture is strange, a bit lumpy, I expected it to be smooth. Unfortunately, I have long nails and the problem for me is the lack of a stick to apply the product. Lips are moisturized, but the effect could be better.

Deeply moisturising

I really suffer with dry lips. This is beautifully creamy and moisturising, with only a slight scent. The relief feeling is long lasting too. The only reason it’s 4 stars instead of 5, is I’m not overly keen on the slight grainy texture.

I fell in love!

I received my Nuxe order two days ago and I had ordered this new hydrating lip balm. I must say that it is truly the best lip product I have ever purchased from any establishment or online. I purchased two, but after trying it I went back to the website the very next day and ordered two more because I didn't want to risk running out and the item be sold out. Call me crazy but I'm in love with the texture, color and how it makes my lips feel so soft, and extremely moisturized for hours. Pretty in pink! I'll have four jars, so ladies get yours before they sell out! Trust me when I say that you'll be glad you that you purchased this product as well. We're in the early spring, but this lip balm makes my lips look as if they're in full bloom.

Lovely Pot of Lip Balm

This balm has a lovely velvety texture which I really like as you definitely don’t have to worry about your hair sticking to your lips. In terms of scent, I was hoping for a stronger rosy scent after seeing the title “Very Rose” but this product does not smell rosy at all. Overall a nice product.

Lovely texture

This balm has a lovely texture. I’m afraid it didn’t last very long on my lips. I’m a total fan of Reve de Miel lip balm and in my opinion the Rose doesn’t hold a candle to this. Perhaps younger ladies would prefer this balm? Everyone is different and really the only way to find out if you like a product is to try it for yourself and I would recommend you buy and try this balm for yourself as it might be the one for you.

Not Very Rose, but Good

I really like the Nuxe lip balms. I do like this one, but would agree it doesn't feel quite as rich as the original, but it's still lovely, with a nice texture and does a good job to make my dry lips feel comfortable. My slight problem is though, I don't get any rose fragrance from it at all, just lots of vanilla, which is fine, I will still use it , and I quite like vanilla, but it's called 'Very Rose' and that was a big part of the reason for purchasing. I do prefer Reve De Miel as my lips are very dry and the extra richness of the formula is appreciated, but,if you like vanilla and find RdM slightly too rich, this one might be for you.

Not rose scented and...

This looked like a fancy colourless lip balm and claims to be "very rose"- it's not. It does have a scent but it's more like sweet vanilla which I didn't mind. (It sort of is false advertising) I feel like this was not worth using as I applied and it dries out very quickly and my lips still feel dry and has flaky skins. Also be aware that packaging is made of glass so don't drop it! (I accidentally broke mine.)

The BEST lip balm I’ve ever tried ‘

I’m a lip connoisseur. I’ve used everything from LaMer to Sisley, Burt’s Bees, Guerlain etc. Was just in Paris and fell in love with French Pharmacies. I discovered Nuxe oil so I bought some other Nuxe products. Perhaps I shouldn’t be saying this as it may spur more people to buy thus draining the supply for me !!!!!! BUT …… I have to say this is by far the best lip balm I have ever used PERIOD ! It’s restorative, lasts and tastes great. PS I’m 70 ( look like I’m 50 ) & love great skin care. Just buy it.

Very good product

Very hydrating, the scent is beautiful. And it has a lovely light tinge of pink. Would recommend for the older woman, its a bit too sophisticated for young women! I personally think. Opt for a laniege lip mask if your shopping for a younger woman. 10-20
