After looking at the reviews of dehumidifiers on the Choice website we decided to go with the Ausclimate NWT 35l one. Choice rated it highly plus it was one of the two most economical to run. Temple and Webster had it for the best price with free shipping and it arrived quite quickly. We've had some mould on leather jackets in our wardrobe during this exceptionally wet weather, but the Ausclimate removes litres of moisture from the air. We generally run it twice in each room and the second run Stukeley removed a couple of litres of moisture. It's easy to operate, a little heavy to mice but it does have wheels. Highly recommended product.

We received it yesterday and are very happy with it. It's pulled heaps of water out of the air in the house. With the fan at max it can be a little noisy, but not too bad for me. There are some smells coming from the machine initially, I expect these will reduce with use, so I suggest to use it in a bathroom for a day or so until the smells have cleared up. The dry air outlet blows warm-ish air into the room. Not a problem in the cooler months. I'm using the hose drain now in the bathroom to help dry clothes. It tends to curl around a little but I used a small weight to keep it in place. I wish it was a little longer though, but I figure I can get something from the hardware to extend it a bit further. I have it draining into the shower recess waste, because the bathtub rim is too high. When turning it off to empty the water tank, you really have to wait a couple of mins for the drips to stop before removing the tank. Even then there can be a dew drips onto the floor. Not a problem with a tiled floor, but if you don't want to get water on the floor (e.g. carpet or floating floors) then you need to be careful - say use a towel under it and maybe a plastic sheet under that? It's up to you. After turning it off for a while, then back on, the humidity setting I had before was reset to default. So that's something to check when you restart it. But it can be difficult to read the display in low light conditions as it's not backlit (well at least not in my case) - that would've been a helpful feature. Overall, the nits are not enough for me to mark it down, for it's doing a good job.

I bought this dehumidifier due to mould and excess dampness in the downstairs of our house. So far I am extremely happy with this product. The amount of water it has extracted already is amazing. We have attached the hose extension and it is sitting in the shower as we have it on all the time to drain all the water. Very happy with the 35 L capacity. The machine itself is sounds like a powerful fan, so not okay to have on if you're asleep unless you like a lot of white noise. Best to have it on tiles or be careful when removing water tray as it can spill easily in floor when full. Delivery was very quick.

Dehumidifier - best thing since sliced bread
15 June 2022

Fantastic in removing moisture from our house and to prevent mould after the recent floods , works great in the bathroom after a showering. We live between 2 major rivers so have a lot of moisture in the air especially when the fog sets in for the night During winter. Best thing we ever brought . Thinking of buying another one for our granny flat after it is rebuilt from flood damage . Great product :-)

Excellent choice
25 October 2022

Never had a dehumidifier before, so was a bit apprehensive about buying one. I read a lot of reviews and looked at the options before coming up with this one. This one has already served up well after about a month - not too noisy, soaks up masses of moisture, a little heavy, but not too bad, plus all the features you need. We went a little higher (35l/d) for a 3 bedder in Sydney and it's well worth it for the speed. Unit was well-priced and delivered next business day as advised.

Excellent machine
24 June 2022

During the 2022 unrelenting rainfall my home was inundated with mould and moisture. I bought this machine online and received it within 2 days at my front door., at a great price too.It sucked all the moisture out of the furniture and walls and within days everything was under control. No more mould and it's really easy to move from room to room. Can't recommend it enough

Great appliance
3 June 2022

I ordered & received my dehumidifier within 2 days and being on the Sunshine Coast it couldn’t come soon enough- we were dripping with humidity. I put the machine to work straight away & very soon water was filling the tank. The rooms - walls & floors felt dry - and it was easy to move it around the house. I am extremely happy with this dehumidifier and it had definitely helped with keeping the mould away. I highly recommend this.

Great product
24 June 2022

Bought this after the huge rain we had earlier in the year. Had some water come into the house and mould on some walls/ceiling. Read several good reviews for this machine. Did a great job removing water from my house - couldn’t believe how much it gathered. Took a week or so but got the levels under control. Was a great investment.

Loud but effective
12 July 2022

Overall quite happy with the product, does everything it said it would, though it's much louder than I expected... definitely wouldn't be able to sleep in the same room with it running.Solved all the mould problems in my house - it's very impressive how much water it collects.Quick postage & helpful staff when I phoned to enquire on delivery timeframe. Can't in good faith give a 5 star rating because of the noise, so it's a solid 4 stars from me.

Value for money!
7 March 2022

I had issues with mould in my apartment so I decided to try the AusClimate dehumidifier. Overall, this appliance is great value for money and does a great job at removing the excess humidity in my apartment. I was shocked at how much moisture there was in a relatively small space! My only issue is that there aren’t really handles on the appliance to move it around. The noise is quite loud for me, so I wouldn’t be able to have it on in my room while sleeping but this is also understandable considering what the appliance is doing. The appliance also heats up the space it is sitting in - which is great for winter but not so much for humid summer days. For anyone who has a larger house, I would recommend more than one appliance as it covers around 50m2.
