I honestly really like this product, though I didn’t realize it could be sharpened given the plastic tube. It is a softer plastic do it does sharpen easily. No you don’t need to buy a NYX sharpener it just has to have a jumbo sized sharpener. Though the NYX sharpener is way cheaper than the NARS one I bought for some reason yeaaarsss ago. I like how well this product blends out, it is incredibly smooth and creamy. I often use it for brightening any spots that naturally catch the light on my face, kind of like a highlight but not a shiny highlight. Will be getting some other colors for my eyes to use as an eyeshadow though!

I was gifted the Jumbo Eye Pencil in the shade Milk and I’m so thankful I was.This is highly pigmented, easily blended and easily buildable for a more intense look.The packaging is white matching the colour of the pencil; the see-through lid also allows you to see the colour.This can be used as an eyeshadow base, an eyeshadow, a liner/graphic liner and of course let’s not forget those Halloween looks (my personal favourite) so it is perfectly versatile.I found this to be creamy, glide on effortlessly to the eyelid and feel completely comfortable for the duration of wear. I have not tried many Nyx products, those that i have tried I am impressed with. I was gifted this by NYX for my honest review.This is a great twist up pencil. It has a lovely, creamy texture that glides on the skin. It is also very easy to manoeuvre and apply as it gives you control due to the pen type design.However, it is far too thick and harder to do the design you want. The tip of this should be thinner so that you can be more creative with your designs, and this will also allow you to be able to build up or colour in the sections you want. I do it with almost every make-up, this treatment really makes my eyes look bigger and reduces tiredness and lack of sleep. Moreover, the pencil is easy to remove if this happens to you.This pencil is the best for smokey eyes. It is easy to blend and blends with the skin, giving a very natural make-up look. There should not be videos, tutorials, guides online about how to get more than 3-4 uses out of this product. But all PR is good PR right? I've taken off the end cap at the bottom, and you can see that there's product in the tube all the way down, and in fact, I've used a pair of tweezers to wring more product out of these stupid plastic tubes. And I'm not the only one. The pictures in these reviews show broken open casing, either by accident from trying to figure out how to twist it up, or from trying to get more than a few uses out of the 6$ they spend on a crayon. Having to scrape out product from the tube COMPLETELY defeats the purpose of it being a pencil shaped thing, it might as well just be a cream shadow in a pan, and then no one would be complaining!I do mostly full face, illustrative work. I understand that I use more product in one look than probably most people. Maybe if you just use these to line your lids once in a while this product is fine. But once you hit the plastic, it's done. It's advertised as a liner, a shadow, or an eyeshadow primer. To quote NYX directly:"As an eyeliner (just sharpen the tip and trace your lash line), as an eyeshadow (use the creamy crayon to color your entire lid), or as an eyeshadow primer. If using it as a primer, we suggest coloring in your eyelid with the shade of your choice..." (Q&A page)Other than lining, using it as a shadow or primer uses a pretty substantial amount of the tip of the 'pencil', which is all most people will use of the product. Forget about repeat usages, I'm sure NYX would prefer it if you resorted to just buying another one.If you're already going to CVS to pick up another, may I recommend the Wet N Wild Multistick instead!It is the exact same concept, a dollar less than this god forsaken thing, very similar formula, is available in 6 more shades, AND IS A TWIST UP. I don't know which released first but if Wet N Wild released theirs first, this is a sorry attempt at a copycat. If they released it after NYX, then they should just give up the charade.NYX, you lost this one by making a good product that's frustrating to use at best, and a waste of money and plastic at worst.

Ive bought Every Eyeshadow Stick (ok I still need 2 buy Fentys) & whereas theyre all pretty Great except for thr HIGH Price.. NYX is clear winner. I love Bobby Brown for all the Sparkly for when I'm going all out for Holiday/Special Occasion/decked out look;) but Im still going use NYX for the White "Milk" along w/ my BB, Laura Mercier, etc.I love NYX 'Sherbert' (pinky-coral) as that shade makes more of an empathasize on my Blue/Green/Grey eyes (change w/mood/clothing etc) & really POP no matter which eye color. Im sure the Shade is also awesome for Brown eyes as well!! Anyway~The reason Im compelled to write a Review~ IF you're basing whether to purchase these bad boys on others Reviewers where 'some' dont know you MOST DEFINITELY CAN "SHARPEN"..then You my Friend ... I took a video so I can show everyone just How 'Easy' NYX sharpens smoothly w/ Revlons' (2) sized sharpener. Ive even used the Sharpener that comes w/Nudestick (another awesome Eye, Lip & Cheek stick in one).
