Buttermelt Bronzer ‘applies like powder but glides like butter.’ No words are truer! Shade 05 Butta Off is medium-deep shade which gives a warm, slightly rosy glow to the skin. It’s perfect for adding a touch of sun-kissed warmth. It just melts into the skin but leaves a good pigment. I found that using a brush works best for this bronzer. It picks up just the right amount of product, making it easy to build up and blend. The bronzer’s workability is great as you can use it for subtle looks or build up for more an obvious, bolder look. Great Product but Not for Me

It's a good product. It's a very lightweight, cream-to-powder product, that has a slight pink undertone. Soft natural finish, that looks like skin. Doesn't disturb powder underneath if you decide to apply this on top of powder foundation, lasts through sweating, doesn't leave harsh lines but still pigmented enough to have impact, etc... there are plenty of good things to say about this product.It just does not work for me. I picked up a neutral shade, but even the neutrals are too pink tone for me. I checked myself in natural light and it looks like I have pink-brown blush everywhere, rather than what my skin looks like bronzed / tanned. Almost like a fresh sunburn? All Butta'd Up is perfect if you're fair/light and prefer bronzers with red undertones! It mimics the way I look when I've had some sun. It reminds me a lot of the Physician's Formula Butter Bronzer as far as the finish and application. This one just has better shades, better color payoff, and a better price point. You do get less product, but you're paying less up front and using less per application. The packaging is also super satisfying. I do wish the compact had a mirror, but that's literally the only negative thing I can say. It even smells amazing. I always found the fragrance of the Physician's Formula bronzer to be a bit much, but this one has a perfect level of scent in my opinion. It's just enough to add to the sensory experience without being overkill.

I recieved Nyx's Buttermilk Bronzer curtosey of Influenster on exchange for my honest opinion. Bronzer is not something I get to use often because of my skin color, being so pale it makes most shades of brown or grey look like smudged dirt on my face instead. This however, worked beautifully with my skin. This was in the shade Butta Cup and added depth to my face without making it look dirty or patchy. This comes in a cute, rectangular, compact case (sadly no mirror), but it's pocket sized and very sleek feeling. The outside is a Mauveish brown color, matching very closely to the shade inside. It's a very tan, sandy, light brownish color, but there are a wide range of shades for a variety of complexions. This is a mica and talc based bronzer, so very powdery, but it's so pigmented that a little goes a long way. I did my whole face and barely changed the pattern the powder is pressed into, but still managed that highly sculpted and chisled look. It applies faintly, but is very buildable, but still very blendable without being patchy and without heavy fallout. This can be found at many local retailers such as Wal Mart, Target, Ulta and more for about $10 before tax. This bronzer is affordable, easily accessable, and relatively affordable. I definitly reccommend this, and want to say thank you again to both Nyx and Influenster for the opportunity to test this product.

These new NYX products never cease to amaze me. This is by far one of the best products they've put out recently. They are already flying off the shelves like hot cakes and there are so many colors and varieties and the cute names like this one, butta cup are just too cute. They appear darker I think looking at them with the naked eye than they actually look going on so don't be fooled by that and make sure you get it matched to your skin tone right and don't judge off of pure look alone. This stuff has an amazing light coconut type scent , the scent of summer I'd say. And it's super smooth like creamy and smooth and weightless and so easy to use and blend you literally can use it in many ways . I've seen it used many ways as well as the ways I use it which I mainly like it mostly as bronzer or highlighter to give my skin that summery glow and little extra something. This stuff is gold. I hope they come out with more skin tone varieties though as right now they are pretty new and even though there is and variety it's not as broad as nyx usual palette of products so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they make some in more skin tones because when they do let me tell you , everyone will have this in their beauty regimen in summer for sure and they'll be hard to find as they already are plus at such an affordable price you just can't beat the quality you get for you buck. I received this bronzer for free from Nyx and Influenster in exchange for my honest review. I like bronzer but I have a love/hate relationship due to my olive undertone. I was excited to try the Nyx Buttermelt Bronzer in shade 2 All Buttad Up. I think this is a really interesting formula. Very creamy feel with light scent that goes on with just a nice healthy amount of glow. It does have a bit of a rosy tone so it works amazingly well as a blusher/bronzer. In the photo I have the bronzer on my crease, only matte used, and on my cheeks. It’s a nice healthy easy to work with product. It does have that red/rosy undertone in most shades so be mindful when choosing yours. Quite an affordable price for 5g of product. I received this product complimentary from Influenster in exchange for an honest review. I have only ever used cream or stick bronzers so I was excited to try out a powder. I have fair-light skin so I chose the lightest shade (All Buttad Up). Packaging is sleek, but it’s hard to open. I was excited because this looked like a more cool-toned bronzer than the ones I’ve used/seen, but man was I wrong. This comes off VERY orange and is highly pigmented. Even the lightest tap of a brush onto the product often picks up too much. It’s very hard to blend, as well, which is frustrating since my first press onto the skin makes it a bit darker in that area. I am also not a big fan of fragranced cosmetics so that was somewhat of a turn off; it’s pretty strong, too. This is the lightest shade Butta Cup and the smell is like butter coconut. Not too much just a very light hint. I think I would love to use this as a bronzer/blush. This would do the job. On my skin it comes across a little peachy brown which I love. But among the good things I could say the best thing of this $10 product is the consistency. It just glides!
