I love the Nyx Butter Glosses. Not only do they smell like vanilla cupcakes, but they are glossy without being goopy and are long wear. For $2.49 a piece, I snagged three winter ready colors: Strawberry Jam – a orange reddish glossy shade that makes you want to believe that it’s a summer color with a name like that, but it’s actually the perfect red to wear with a dramatic wing liner and a cocktail dress to a holiday party. Cranberry Biscotti – a berry toned beauty that you can wear day or night. I personally like a dramatic lip with a light eye look and this color is would look great with a pop of cheek color, mascara and bold eyebrows. Red Wine Truffle – the big sister to Cranberry Biscotti. Just a tad bit deeper and not so pink. This is what I would pair with a smokey eye and a black pencil skirt. Add a fitted turtleneck and you have a perfect workday outfit

This is my go-to lip gloss. I have tried so many brands and I always come back to NYX Butter Gloss. I like the container size, the doe foot, the colors and the excellent price point. Yes, the color doesnt last super long. I think it lasts longer when my lips are exfoliated and moisturized the night before. I do not buy lip glosses for long lasting coverage, I like the sheen which will never last long no matter what product you buy. I also think this gloss is not sticky and non-drying. But since this product is so well priced I can buy several of the same color to have it in my purse and desk at work so I can always reapply. All in all happy with this product and the color selection.

They also have some different color "kits" containing 3 pre-picked packaged shades, ranging in light, neutral to darker shades! There is definitely a color for everyone! This butter gloss is so cute and it goes on so smooth!! Beautiful color when the two colors mix!! Great product with lots of choices in colors. Some of these shades are really pretty but most of them you can’t see after wearing for about an hour or so hut you still get some of the feelings of the gloss on your lips. A few last longer than that though. A couple left a little lip stain which was nice. I probably won’t buy every color I tried again but a couple really stood out so I will probably buy those again. I really love the Strawberry Cheesecake and the Candy Swirl Snow Cone. They both leave a light stain and last the longest of the ones I have tried so far. Too bad Snow Cone is a limited addition.
