NYX Professional Makeup - Lip Lingerie XXL Matte Liquid Lipstick - Warm Up

I'm testing a few red lipstick from different brands and NYX Matte liquid in color stamina was definitely a keeper. Plus points: The color is very flattering, a bit darker than a pure red but quite close to it. It dries in less than 5 minutes and there is no stickiness to it. Very light on the lips, I don't feel like I'm wearing a lipstick. Totally kiss proof. No transfer whatsoever! You can eat, kiss, talk and drink for hours without worrying about it. Bigger size than other liquid lipsticks, it should last more. Negative points: The applicator is not the easiest to use so either you are an expert or its better to first use a pencil to underlying the lips and stay inside those lines. Colour and stay power is great, but the fragrance.

When I got my package at work, this lipstick was the first thing I bought. Now that we're no longer mandated to wear masks where I am, I wanted to test this lipstick and I have some notes.Pros:- the formula is much better than the previous Nyx Lip lingerie. My lips feel moisturized, once dried, there is no transfer (I tested it by drinking some water within 10 minutes and there was no residue on my cup).- The colour, just wow. Its pigmented, the first swipe is like a soft black. Its not a harsh black if that makes sense. I've been on the search for a great matte lipstick foreverrr( i refuse to buy expensive makeup or from brands that I don't care to support like anything from the kardashian-jenners) and have tried the NYX lingerie before, also in the twist up stick version of it, and they were good but not like this new formula!!!! I have extremely dry skin and especially lips so the dry on matte lipsticks always just left my lips crusty and peeling after an hour of wear and especially after eating and drinking. I live in the dry dessert and have the dryest of dry skin and lips and this product did me so proud. I'm a big believer in the application process of lipstick and how that effects its outcome so maybe people r putting this on unmoisturized lips. I put on lip oil while I do the rest of my makeup(lipstick very last), then exfoliate them, then put a touch of concelor on and then the lipstick. The one thing I will say is that the color of the bottle itself does not match the actual color of lipstick, the actual color is Def darker so just make sure to swatch on your skin!!! Highly recommend this product and will be getting many more shades!

Fantastic & long lasting matte!

Forget any other matte lipstick, get this product! I'm a big fan of lipsticks and got into liquid matte lipsticks thanks to a different brand. I'm super picky about my liquid mattes; they have to be *actually* long lasting (12+hrs MINIMUM), have a wide variety of colors beyond pinks and nudes, and not dry my lips out like a desert. Bought an NYX Lingerie XXL by chance - with a bunch of other matte lipsticks from various brands. Not only was it the only winner out of the bunch, it replaced my fave matte brand! Great formula

This is excellent. I don’t normally wear liquid lipstick, but gave this a try and love it. Texture-wise, this is a lot like the paint you use on the walls of your house, though that might sound strange to read at first. By that I mean that it starts off very gooey on initial application, but quickly darkens and dries to a thin, powdery finish and stays put once dry.It also has the scent of the creme used for tiramisu and kind of feels like putting cream on your lips at first. This made me unsure when I first put it on, but the texture when dry is excellent and stays in place until I deliberately wash it off. I can eat, drink, brush my teeth, apply chapstick; whatever. It's kind of growing on me!

Okay so here's the thing - of course due to color theory this shade will look different on everyone. A person with a paler skin tone, it will be a rose brown nude. A person with medium skin tone will, it will look like pink nude and on deeper skin tones it will look very cool toned pink nude. This shade will wash out a lot of deeper skin tones. On the lips it's a cool toned pink. Normally cool toned pink tends to wash out the medium and deeper skin tones. I personally enjoyed it once it dried down. When I first applied it I was like so confused that why did I bought a shade that is so cool toned! But as it dries the color starts showing up and settles into a beautiful pretty pink nude with a hint of warmth in it. This shade is tricky. The texture of the lipstick is as usual creamy and settles down to a matte finish, I have so many nyx lippies, their soft creme and this lingerie xxl range's formulation are just bomb! It has that delicious cupcake fragrance! It can survive upto 2 heavy oily meals so that's pretty impressive. Overall I'm glad I bought it!

Sent in a dirty clear bag within Walmart envelope

Maybe this is a great product; I do not know but I'm reluctant to use it because it arrived inside of a very dirty clear plastic bag within a Walmart envelope. This is not a cosmetic that is sold with any type of protective packaging (cardboard backing and/or heavy duty plastic on top,) it is completely loose and you can EASILY open it without ANY effort as there is a TINY piece of tape "Securing" it closed. I contacted NYX and they confirmed that it does not have anything more than a tiny piece of tape closing it. Anyone could have easily opened this at the store (I see it shipped from Vegas to me, here in NJ.) Between the dirty plastic bag and the feeling that someone already opened it I'm just left disgusted and frustrated. The BEST lipstick I have EVER used!

So I have never tried this lipstick before yesterday. I ran out of my normal lipstick and unfortunately I cannot find it anymore, so I went to Ulta with a shade in mind and searched the whole store. The only lipstick shade I could find that was similar was Unhooked by NYX. I was reluctant to try it because I had never bought a NYX lip product and I was worried it wouldn't set, just based off the $10 price. I bought it anyway because it was almost the exact shade I wanted. When I tell you, I put this lipstick on at 3pm, went out, drank, are greasy food, and accidentally FELL ASLEEP IN IT..... I woke up at 8am the next morning the rest of my makeup was smeared BUT MY LIPSTICK WAS STILL FULLY INTACT. This lipstick is forever my concert lipstick

I've loved nyx for years and when they came out with these I immediately went out and bought 3, all of them were darker nude color and wear beautifully. I had a music festival coming up recently and bought the shade naughty noir, when I say this doesn't come off for hardly nothing I means it! I went through a 13 hour music festival wearing this lipstick and only had to touch up the inner edge maybe once or twice the rest of it held the whole time period I've now done this at 3 different concerts and this stuff lasts forever. I apply two coats for an even color but you don't have too, a lip liner is DEFINITELY helpful. the formula is pretty comfortable as well as long as you aren't putting it on super dry lips.
