NYX Professional Makeup Pro Fix Stick Correcting Concealer Stick Rich Espresso

The NYX pro fix concealer sticks glide on smoothly and are creamy and easy to blend. I received them complimentary from Influenster and NYX in exchange for my honest review. I typically use a creamy liquid concealer, so I was a bit hesitant about how a product in a stick that seemed like it might be a waxier product would work but they are very smooth and creamy and easy to apply! The color that I received for my skin tone matched perfectly and the thicker, creamy texture covered blemishes with ease. The pink tone worked well to cover some of the discoloration under my eyes. Since I don’t usually wear foundation (just lightly tinted sunscreen, concealer, blush, etc.) I need the coverage without the green cast since I would only be putting powder on top. I found that mixing some of the skin colored concealer and the green concealer together and applying with a brush worked much better as the benefits of the green canceling out the redness helped without the obvious green tint and I was pleased with how it turned out. The green concealer also was helpful applied very thinly and blended over some areas of redness. I have oily combo skin and after wearing the concealer for several hours it was slightly caky but not significant enough to stop me from using it. All in all, the NYX concealer sticks were easy to match perfectly to my skin tone but the green one works better when it’s mixed in my opinion. I wish that formula sat a little better and didn’t get caky with my sunscreen/powder combo but I was overall impressed and will continue to use these products.

As an deep-neutral African American, I believe that this concealer shade “Dark Peach”would be best suited for someone with a medium skin complexion. Even though the formula felt lightweight, I felt like the concealer didn’t work too well with my skin complexion. I have dead on medium toned skin with a warm undertone, I’m always in the 3-4 area of foundation shades i.e. think of Loreal true match 4W, my exact match examples: NARS M3 Stromboli, MAC NC37, Estee DW 3W1. I have dark circles that are genetic and get more noticeable with age. I’ve used the Bobbi Brown medium bisque corrector and NARS Praline concealer for years and that is my HG! I didn’t like the slight tugging this caused when applying directly to my undereye so I started brushing some off the stick and applying it with my concealer brush. The formula is quite thick and very pigmented! The dark peach is what is normally use for my skin tone but wow it’s way too dark, so I’d mix it with the yellow. These may just not be a good match for me because holy crap my under eyes were so incredibly yellow tinted even with my concealer and setting powder. I love a bright undereye and I’ve spent years perfecting that! On top of that discoloration, that true darkest parts weren’t even fully corrected and that’s what I can see in that second photo. Good luck trying to layer this lightly either. It also cause ALOT of creasing after a couple hours. I won’t even get into the concealer because it was sooo off for my skin tone I can’t use it. I do know I would hate a concealer so incredibly thick and emollient like on my skin. It’s not creamy at all. I think these could be good for someone with very nice skin complexion that needs minimal concealing, also maybe a starter with makeup that doesn’t mind this texture. There’s way better out there though!

I’m definitely a color-correcting beginner and these Pro Fix Stick Correcting Concealers from NYX had me wowed! The third picture shows just the correctors applied to both sides of my face blended (no foundation, no filter!) and they leave no trace at all— just perfectly even skin. After indulging in some dairy this weekend, I was left with some angry red spots and the green concealer neutralized them so amazingly. The yellow corrector is amazing for dark circles and broken capillaries and the pink-toned corrector is great for highlighting and correcting areas of minor color variation. I was lucky enough to try out the NYX pro fix sticks. The green stick assisted with red areas under my skin, the pink aided with any discoloration and their alabaster stick as the concealer. I thought they worked wonderfully. The green stick doesn’t glide as easily as the others but it still works great; I just apply it first and wait a minute or so which significantly helped me while blending everything together. Which is fine since I’m usually running around all over the place while getting ready. When I tried these, it was during the colder months when my skin was on the drier end but I didn’t notice a difference on how it appeared on skin. I received 3 corrrecting concealers in a variety of shades. I've been using the shade CCS09 for my under eye circles and have really enjoyed it! First of all, the coverage is amazing! An incredible magic concealer for mature under eye

This is an incredible color corrector/concealer in one for mature thin skin around the eyes! I have such a problem finding a product that doesn't weigh heavy under my eyes really settling into the very fine lines I have due to the creepy skin I have from a lot of fat loss in my face and aging of course. I picked this up in peach first and it worked great for the slight bluish tone I had under my eyes. I have very fair neutral combination skin with lines around my eyes and lips. I lost my teeth due to a muscular degenerative disease so I've got a lot of lines around my lips but I can use a tiny detail brush with the fair shade & lightly touch up those areas and the lines disappear! Full coverage

As I'm getting older my dark circles are getting worse. I tried the yellow color correcter to combat my dark circles which it does brighten the area. I've tried other dark circle brighteners/color corrections from more expensive brands & this one works the best but a little goes a long way. If I try to use it straight out of the tube it ends up looking like I'm recovering from two black eyes, like they've turned the light yellow right before bruises are gone. I think the pink one would work better instead because I have cool undertones but all the color correcting products I've tried have been yellow which is why I went with the yellow in this. I have a wonderful pot concealer from NYX but I have to use a brush with it. I was looking for something with the same type coverage but easier to put on. Since these can go from medium to full coverage & the colors that aren't corrective would work well too I'll probably get one of those even though I love the one I have in the pot.

Great concealer for older skin

I'm 55 years old and most concealer looks awful on me. So many cancealers, even bestsellers with great reviews, get dry and crunchy looking on my dry under eye skin. This little stick, however, is quite creamy. I dont use a lot; just a dab on the inner and outer corner of my eyes, which I then blend out with my fingers. It looks lovely by itself, but even when I set it with a bit of powder it doesn't turn into a dry, crusty mess. Its also a great product for travel. I have a skin tone one and the pink one for brightening and I like them both. The only drawback is it doesnt cover ALL darkness. I just use a tiny bit. Still, this gets a 5 star rating from me.
