NYX Professional Makeup The Brow Glue Instant Styler Taupe

I received this product for free from Influenster and NYX. I am a fan of this brow glue. I already own the clear one, so I was excited to try the tinted version. It has the same hold as the clear one as far as the gel goes. I find its one of the better brow gels, especially for stubborn hairs like mine. I have really thick and coarse brow hairs, so I need something that will keep them up, otherwise they will fall right away. With enough of the gel I can get them really spiked up and sculpted for that laminated look which I love. As for the tint, it’s okay. The tint was a bit warmer toned than my actual brow hairs, so it did change the color a bit. I have been testing this brow glue get for a few days now and I don't like it very much. I have been using the NYX control freak clear brow gel before testing this glue and I have to say I like the control freak gel better than this one. My brows are not very thick/dense. They are sparse and like to stay horizontal. So I need something that is light weight but with hold. This brow glue is a little bit thick for my sparse brows and weighs the brow hairs down and they don't stay brushed up. This is why I said I preferred the control freak gel to the brow glue. I do like that the brow glue is tinted. But it might work for you if your brow hairs are dense and can handle thicker products.

Amazing

I think the original clear one is amazing. I have semi-thick brows that are extremely stubborn but this is the best one I have ever used. I have tried many drugstore and high end but this one, in my opinion, is the best one hands down. I think my only con is how little product you get for the price. I wish they had a big size because this is my hoily grail product for brow gel and I use it everyday. The new nyx the brow glue tinted gels are okay. If you're looking for a tinted brow gel that adds a light tint to your brows, it's for you. The hold isn't the same as the original clear. It has less of a glue like consistency and doesn't hold my brows. If you want a fuller tinted brow gel get the nyx thick it stick it.

Don't over apply!

This is pretty darn good for the price! I have some high end brow products (too many and some have sadly dried out before their prime) that are made to create the exact same result as this one is expected to create, and many times, I've just grabbed this instead of the others. It's a pretty impressive little brow gel! I've only used clear but the thinnest amount possible or it WILL flake and get gross, and it WILL give your brows a chunky white cast. So I would wipe off most of the brush before you apply it! I am going to order the medium shade bc I'm super curious about it, which is why I'm leaving this review. I'm here so why not. ;) I'll also add that I have 90's kid brows...you know, the super sparse and patchy, 'over-plucked so long that they never grew back' ... MoreThis is pretty darn good for the price! So I do use brow pencils, ink brow pens, and powder to bring the whole brow together and how I like them to look (like I never plucked them all out). It takes a lot of time and products to create the natural full brow I was actually born with :( But this product is very helpful if you are like me and need many products to have full brows. If you use this with an ink brow, people will ask "did you have that micro blading thing done?!?"! It's cheap enough, just try it!

The BEST brow gel!

This is BETTER than Glossier Boy Brow, in my opinion. It’s vegan, the colors are good, and it has better packaging. I’ve been using Boy Brow for years, when it was newer to the market and the only brow product like it. But a few things always bothered me about it. It’s not vegan, which is important to me. And it’s a pain to need to order it (I don’t do Sephora; I’m a Target and Ulta girl.) Plus, the Glossier packaging is cheap for the price. I think these colors for Brow Glue are newer, because I browse NYX regularly, and I just noticed these. LOVE! The black is a good color for me. And I use the dark brown over it to soften it.
