NYX Professional Makeup Wonder Stick Blush Coral and Deep Peach

I wanted to love this more, but it wasn’t a total hit in my book. I loved the creamy texture. It glides onto skin super smooth, and easily. It took some real effort to blend it out, but it did eventually blend out at least. The caps click on really well so I’d feel confident putting it in my purse without fear of a makeup disaster. It does clean off easily at the end of the day and didn’t cause any break outs or skin irritation. Cruelty free and vegan standing is great! I love any chance to know better and do better in the world. I should have gone with a slightly brighter blush color I think but over all I don’t feel impressed with the idea of a duo stick for dimension. The stick is super convenient if you’re like me and want to have a makeup vanity full of a variety of different blushes. Not only does the stick let you sample two colors, and comes with enough product to last a while, the stick is super lightweight and compact for on the go travel. The reason I say this is because the products blendability also depends on the kind of canvas you’re working with. If you using matte foundations that dry quickly or try to use this after you’ve set your makeup, you will have a hard time blending it. The cream blush definitely applies better to more dewy skin. As far as staying power, I’d say you’re good for a whole day. I’ve worn the blush for 10+ hours and it was still visible. As with most NYX products, they’ve once again created a higher end product for half the price! I would definitely repurchase!

I felt that the contouring concept did not work well for this product because both colors came out very pink, so I didn’t feel like it contoured my face but rather made my whole face look pink. The product is also very pigmented and I really only needed a very small amount on each cheek. It is easy to apply but I ended up doing a couple dots on my cheeks as opposed to using it like a contour product as the instructions show. I also felt that the blush needed a lot of blending to make it not appear blotchy. I found that I had to use my fingers to blend it because it wasn’t blending well with a brush. I bought this and the Wet N Wild contour/highlight stick and this is much better. The Wet N Wild was a similar color, slightly darker, but it was much thicker and didn't blend near as easily. I gave it to my 7yr old to put in her makeup to use when she's playing dress-up around the house. I will only be using the NYX from now on!!

On the very first day I used my NYX blush wonder stick I got pretty decent results, and after a couple of applications, I think it looks really good! Here are my thoughts: The shade seemed a little deep at first for my post-winter skin tone, and immediately after applying to the lines on my high high points/appes/temples as the instructions and how-to pictures on the box described, I realized that this formula is VERY pigmented. The formula is super smooth and creamy and glides on like a dream, which is probably at least partly because of the hyaluronic acid in it. Also, as long as you don't wait too long before blending it out, it blends really well too. And as for the coral/deep peach shade being too deep? With a little extra blending I actually love the shade - it works really well with my somewhat olive, light to medium skin tone. I also like that the stick itself is double-ended. It just gives you more ways to use it. You can stick with just one shade or the other, OR you can use the darker shade on the apples of your cheeks and temples and the lighter shade on your high points (sort of like a contour stick). After trying each way I think I like using both shades best, as it offers the most definition, in my opinion. After using it several times on several different makeup bases, I noticed that what you are wearing underneath this blush is going to make a huge difference in how it applies. For example, when I've applied this directly to un-prepped skin with no makeup base, it doesn't blend well. Its a little better on a matte foundation/concealer base, especially if I used a thick moisturizer or primer first, but I think this formula works BEST on top of a good hydrating moisturizer/primer and natural or dewy finish foundation - it blends out SO MUCH better. Finally, this isn't a blush you can let sit awhile before blending it out. You really want to start blending immediately, because it can start to dry out a little and set of you don't (again, especially on top of a matte foundation). Finally, in terms of staying power, this blush is pretty good. I haven't tried getting an entire full day out of it, but it has lasted a good 6-7 hours multiple times, and it might last longer, I just haven't tried it yet. Overall, I really like this blush stick. For me it applies pretty easily, looks really good, and feels really nice on the skin. I really think it could work for anyone, but I'd ESPECIALLY recommend it to makeup-beginners like myself because it really is easy to work with. Also, I really like that the box itself has a couple of pictures of exactly how to apply this blush. I'd also recommend this product to anyone who would like the convenience of having two creamy blush shades in one blush stick, and offer just a tad bit of extra definition when used together. I also love the fact that, as with all NYX products, this is cruelty-free!!!

Both ends were pretty close in color, so I wished they had included more contrasting tones in each duo... but both ends were equally pigmented! They applied incredibly smoothly onto the skin without disturbing any of my base makeup, and blended quickly with just my fingertips. No blotchiness, and the color looked completely natural. Oddly enough, i found myself reaching for this more than my . These were actually more pigmented and dryer in texture, which actually helped it blend better without disturbing my foundation underneath. I usually apply these with a brush but I always like to try applying as recommended on package instructions.. these are very pigmented - less is more. Id still recommend using a brush to apply to your face. I'm not sure I'd use these together as recommended on the box either, but I do like each of these separately. I've not used or worn this for more than a few hours so I can't speak to long wearing yet; however, if this product is consistent with the rest of nyx brand then I'd expect it to be longwearing. Ok blush

Too pink and the two colours are very similar to each other. Having bought the nyx wonder contour stick, which I love, decided to try the blush stick. The two ends are a good idea, but in practice they are too similar to each other. If you apply both per suggested image, it ends up being a lot of blush that needs to be well blended. I have a neutral beige skin colour and I feel like it was too pink for me. I also found other brand cream blushes easier to blend. I would likely give this a better review if this was the right shade for me.

I thought id try a different blush shade as i normally stick to reds and pink, and know these nux duo sticks are great after the first one i got. This colour combo tho.. wow!! The coral side is perfect for summer and has given even my dark skin a sunkissed look ive been looking for and the deep red is great for definition of the cheekbones! For the price the quality is great as i usually wear them to work, waitressing and they last all day
