These goggles were great the first couple of days that I used them. Then all of a sudden they fogged up in between the lenses and would not un fog no matter what I did. I ended up having to go buy a brand new pair of goggles at the base of the mountain. Obviously that's not the less expensive way to go. I have worn Oakley goggles for the last 20 years and have never had a problem until this pair. Definitely not a fan.

Long time Spy user, bought my first Oakley goggles following strong recommendations on the Prizm Rose Gold lens for flat light conditions. It turns out that the Prizm Rose Gold Iridium, which seems to have replaced the non-Iridium version, is actually a high visibility/low VLT lens, as opposed to the older lens. Nonetheless, after getting used to the pink tint, this lens was great in a part sunny part cloudy day and I enjoyed riding with it. The goggles are quite comfy and provide a wide field to view. I was worried the traditional (L) version of the Flight Deck would be too large so I opted for the M, and I'm quite happy with the way they fit.

Finally got to use my new Goggles, these Oakley Flight Decks are amazing! The field of vision and the quality of the lens is stunning. Changing lenses, while not super easy was not terrible and on my low light day I was super happy to have the option to swap out.Very pleased with the fit in combination with my Smith helmet and would happily recommend these googles to anyone looking for a new pair.

These Oakley Flight Deck goggles are fantastic! Had a fantastic ski day up at Sugarloaf, it was an overcast flat light day and the rose lens was simply amazing. I could see contours and ski lines beautifully. Then as the sun came out, after a slight struggle swapping the lens over I had my dark pair on for a fantastic afternoon! I highly recommend these goggles!
Great lenses. I purchased the Jade Iridium and it works well in bright sunlight and low visibility conditions. My only dislike is they fit a little on the small side for a medium. I have the strap as loose as it will go and it is still a little too tight. They do fit the well with my helmet though. I wear a medium helmet . The lenses also look very cool. The silicone on the inside of the goggle strap is also a nice touch to keep them from sliding off helmet. Great case as well.
For what the goggles are, they are perfect. Mirror iridium coating is beautiful, PRIZM lens is crystal clear, and the build quality feels solid. If you do not wear glasses while skiing, this is a perfect goggle. Nose bridge seems low and compressible so it fits on many different face shapes, my partner included. Unfortunately they did not sit/ remove over my glasses very well so they are not the perfect match for me particularly but would be perfect for anyone without glasses! The L size fit over my glasses perfectly however!
Great looking goggles and the visibility through them was excellent. What was really disappointing was how easily they scratch - I would have thought for the price they would be a bit more resistant to scratching. I don't even know how they scratched, the contact was that light. The goggles come in a carry case and a microfibre bag, but I was disappointed that they didn't come with an elasticated microfibre cover, for use on the slopes. Again, for the price, this omission is disappointing.
TLDR: Superb optics and comfort. Terrible lens changing.Enjoyed using during a week in Thredbo in mid-Aug. If pushed, the material differences would be somewhat better recognition of terrain contours and less eye fatigue from the Oakley PRIZM lenses after a long day.Comfort-wise, the Oakleys were superb with generous, soft foam padding perfect for my delicate face. I have a 55 cm circumference noggin with a high nasal bridge and high cheek bones. While the Anons were very comfortable too, I think the Oakleys would be better right through to the end of a long day. I didn't get hotspots from either and really would be happy with either.I found the Oakleys' lens changing unacceptably slow and fiddly, especially since I couldn't do it without risking rubbing the insides of the lenses with my peanut butter fingers. I almost returned the goggles because of this after my first lens-changing tribulation but they would definitely have be considered used! A good workaround was to take the lens off while keeping the goggles in their bag. The Anons' lens magnet-based changing system was so much easier and faster! I found myself fitting the Oakley lenses in the mornings in my room before heading out, choosing the lens according to the weather forecast, then switching to my Anons and changing their lenses (effortlessly!) as conditions changed while on the lifts. Anon lenses: Perceive Variable Green 22% VLT and Perceive Cloudy Pink 53% VLT. My other Oakley lens was the PRIZM Persimmon 46% VLT whose rendition esp. contrast is exceptional; my fav. Yes, I've massively overcooked all this, but it ended up being perfectly manageable and I was prepared for any light: during my trip I experienced highly variable conditions. All made possible by packing the other goggles and spare Anon lens in the wonderfully compact and comfortable Osprey Glade 5.To my eyes, marginally greater field of view compared to the Anons M2s. Was tempted to get XL but so glad I didn't as comparing with a mate's, they were too big and the XMs fit my face and generic rental helmet perfectly. He has a big noggin, craves depth of field and owns a matching helmet so XL works for him. While I tend to baby my gear so didn't trash it, I could tell the build quality was excellent (as was that of the Anons). As an side, buy a Gogglesoc! They saved my goggles many times during rest breaks when they slipped off my helmet or my helmet rolled with them on, reminiscent of 'peanut buttered toast fallen on the floor face down yet again' situations.I skied front of mountain only and didn't exert myself too much, sticking to green and blue runs, so the only time I experienced fogging was because my face mask was awry. This was never an issue with the Anons because I had an MFI face mask fitted. Anon's MFI system really is superb. If you can, try before you buy! I got really lucky with the Oakleys as they fit perfectly without trying them first. By contrast, I tried on Smith I/O Mag 2022s (S, M and L!) and they all left a surprisingly large gap midway down my perfect nose! (I got to try the Anons before I bought).I love the two-goggle setup. I just hope the foam on the goggles last long enough to really get use out of both of them to justify the extravagance. Thanks for making it to the end!
I have a slightly smaller face, so I went with the M style Flight Decks. They fit perfectly and look great on my helmet. You only get one lens though and the particular shade that I chose is ideal for overcast conditions (Rose colored), not bight blue bird days, like sunglasses. I do like the goggles enough to where I will probably get an extra set to act like shades though. If you want to check and see what lens color works for what you want, just Google "oakley goggle condition chart," and you will see graphs illustrating color to conditions. I think Evo has resources on goggle selections too.
I purchased the Oakley flight deck L last year. After a year of use and 15,000 ft they performed as they should. Didn't have any issues with fogging up. Just make sure to leave them in your cold vehicle to acclimate to the outside temp. This time I purchased the Medium size to Give to my son. Great price and an excellent product thanks EVO.MikeMINNESOTA
