I've always liked the Oakley glasses but never bought any. I had been tossing up between them and Radar Path's for a while now. With seeing the 35th Anniversary editions I just had to have them, the originals came out the same year I was born! Great glasses, very lightweight, great fit and the optics are beyond anything I thought possible in a pair of sunglasses. Oakley, you have a customer for life now! The only thing that wasn't quite right about the glasses was the fact the lenses are more of a red/purple colour than red/orange shown in the photos but I think I can live with that.

After breaking my old WP glasses playing baseball I needed something durable but stylish for everyday. Oh boy did Oakley Frogskins come in clutch for me! I ordered them in clear/crystal frames with prescription trivex clear lenses with AR coating and I could not be happier with how durable they feel and how good they look, not to mention SportRx got the prescription perfect. They hug my medium size (7 1/2 hat size) head really well. People really seems to dig them too! Customer service with SportRx is simply the best! Thank you!!!

Amazing sunglasses. My partner has a large head so glasses are often too small for him. These are XL and fit him really well. They're super comfortable. His favourite colour is purple and these were a perfect Christmas present. Great company to order from, fantastic prices and good, friendly communication too.

I haven't had Frogskins in many many years and wanted some everyday glasses with Prizm lenses. I have Prizm lenses in my bike glasses and they are incredible, making me want the Frogskins for every day.I've had these for about two weeks are really like them. Lots of compliments too. The glasses are very comfortable and the lens is excellent - very sharp colors & contrast and not too dark which I don't care for. Mine are polished black frames with the Black Prizm lenses which do have a slight reflectiveness to them, but not like other Oakley lenses where it's really pronounced. They are sized "XL" but they are still on the medium size in my opinion. Not as large as the other brands you are probably familiar with.Highly recommend!
I bought the XS Frogskins (matte black frames) with the Rose Gold Prizm lenses. I am a petite woman who always has to buy youth sunglasses (or perma-wear a croakie), my head is just too small! For referance my hat measure is 21.25". These fit well for a casual fit, still a little loose for sporty activities but no issues with them sliding down my nose during normal wear. HOWEVER, like most "wayfarer" style sunglasses (including several previous pairs from Oakley's Women's collection (that I wore with croakies) lenses project slightly outside my face...which for any other casual sunglasses I have owned is completely fine. BUT THESE LENSES ARE SOMEHOW REFLECTIVE ON THE INSIDE TOO?! Although they appear translucent on the inside, if there is a light source behind me, ... BUT THESE LENSES ARE SOMEHOW REFLECTIVE ON THE INSIDE TOO?! Although they appear translucent on the inside, if there is a light source behind me, the outermost part of the inside lens reflects the image of the side of my head onto the inside of the glasses. This gives them a "blind spot" and is distracting to say the least. Love the way the glasses look, and willing to chalk it up to this exact lens color (not had issues with other prizms) but I will never buy another pair without trying on in store first. If you've got a similar head to me, the youth Flaks are the most secure sunglasses I have found for sports. They are definitely a "look" but I've lost too many sunglasses over the side of my boat and am sick of croakie dreadlocks. If these Frogskins are genuinely too big for you, check out Julbo's youth wayfarer style and Rookie design, which run a bit smaller. Had them for a while but they were a bit too small...also Julbo seems to compromise on quality of their kids polarized lenses.
Years ago, I purchased a pair of matte black Moonlighter sunglasses with the same color lens as these. Those glasses were recently destroyed and I have been on the hunt for a replacement pair. Apparently Moonlighters are no longer being produced? Anyway, I am a female with a small(er) head so its difficult to find sunglasses that don't take up my whole face. These are great. They're very light weight, comfortable, don't slide down my nose or raise up too much when I smile. And if I lean forward, they don't fall off. They aren't *exactly* like my beloved Moonlighters, but are great nonetheless.
These fit great. However for some reason there is reflection on both sides. Like I can see the green color of the frames. Maybe it’s just me though. Also these aren’t polarized. So maybe that’s it. I noticed my polarized pair had less frame reflection.
Here’s something people may not expect to know about Frogskins. My eyes have always teared up less with my Frogskins than any of my other Oakleys including M Frames with the big heaters lenses (both hinged and rigid frames), XL Jackets, Thumps, Gen 2 Frogskins, and other casuals. M Frames are perfect on mtb or road bike, but above about 40 mph, Frogskins out perform wrap around lenses. I think it’s the tighter fit around eyebrow/nose bridge/cheek that keeps air out. Goggles are my norm, but I’ve been skiing (fast) in Frogskins since 1988, especially in the spring. I miss the pre-helmet years wearing Frogskins with croakies and goggles backwards on headband. Sometimes a company’s first product is still their best. So glad you guys keep these in production.
Let me start by saying that these were my favorite sunglasses in the 90s, and when I had LASIK surgery I was very stoked to find out that Oakley had reissued them. The Good: They seem to be even sturdier than the originals. The new Prism lenses are very clear and sharp. The overall profile of the sunglasses is similar to the original Frogskins. Oakley offers replacement lenses for these sunglasses. The Bad: They are not exactly the same in either shape or in size as the originals. The reissues are bigger both horizontally and vertically. This is why Oakley now offers what they call "Asian Profile" Frogskins. The "Asian Profile" is actually much closer to the original size of Frogskins from the 90s.On the whole, they seem to be very solidly built and the style is ... They are very expensive, but the build quality is quite high, and when you factor in the replacement leses that are offered, I feel they are worth the money.
I haven’t worn Oakley since the 90’s! Saw these on Instagram and loved the blue lenses. They look exactly as pictured. I’m giving them 4 stars only because they are extremely lightweight (not a bad thing), but seem VERY delicate. The price seems high for how unsubstantial they are. I have a tiny face and these look custom fit on me. If you have a wide face these may seem small, and like I stated these don’t give at all! The plastic seems fragile. The weightlessness will be great for hours of golfing however!
