Oakley Sunglasses OO9263 Turbine - Black

Oakley has the quality I look for in glasses both in lenses and frames .Material is excellent and Lens is impressivetechnology is and the frames I find are very comfortable.I'm impressed but the selections and they have something for every one as sizes , purpose built for various sports and everyday .The addition of cat 4 glasses was awesome as I suffer Extreme light sensitivity .Oakley does not disappoint !

So good that when my husband lost his, we’ve bought another pair, despite trying many others. The wide arm band has rubber that grips more with sweat, as do the nose grips, so great for activity. They provide really good wraparound cover for the eyes, without looking like that type. My husband has a large head and face and these are one of the only pairs to fit him well!

Amazing Sunglasses

These sunglasses are amazing. Living in New Orleans, LA we get a lot of rain in the summer months from March through mid September. If its raining outside I still can wear these sunglasses and they help by maintaining great visibility even in the rain. They take away the washed out grey look from the rainfall and enhance the sharpness while driving. They are unlike any pair of sunglasses I have ever owned. While out fishing they filter out all of the reflective factors of light and allow you to see into the water. No they dont give you X-ray vision but if you fish you know what Im talking about. Excellent clarity even in bad conditions. Highly recommended. Great product. Great investment. Excellent sunglasses

I have this exact pair at home, but because the "temple" pieces are starting to fail and I have a few scratches on them with 15-years of use, I decided to replace them. They were on sale in-store at Scheels and I couldn't pass on the bargain! These are excellent sunglasses, polarized. I've got several Oakley sunglasses, different styles and all polarized and highly recommend the Oakley brand.

Fantastic Customer service!!!

As a pretext, I should say I have never written a review for any product ever but felt this company deserved one as they’ve gone above and beyond what they could have done. I originally purchased sunglasses that were the Oakley Flak 2 frames with progressive prescription lenses in March 2021 to use as my cycling, driving, and walking sunglasses. I loved them but the lenses broke by the nose piece 3 separate times even though I was ultra careful with them. I feel the design is susceptible to this happening as they have a narrow design and you flex them when putting them on. The last 2 times were over a year after I purchased them. While I haven’t used them much yet as I just received them today, I can already tell this design is a stronger design. Both these frames were great looking but I feel the Turbine will be much more durable. SportRx even put a rush on all replacements and I received the replacement in 9 days even though it’s normally a minimum of 14 days. To top that off they replaced each breakage at no cost to me! Even the frame change was at no additional cost. That is great customer service!! SportRx has one more lifetime loyal customer. Thanks for all your help and my great looking sunglasses!

Great Set of Sunglasses

Oakley Turbine SunglassesI bought these sunglasses this summer when I was on the road a lot. They are worth the price you pay for them. They are polarized sunglasses: so, they help block off the sun a little more on those long road trips. They fit very smooth and comfy around your ears and nose. However, they may slide on your face easily so, if you can take them of quickly if need be. The sunglasses have great comfort on your head.The last category I graded them on was how cool they look. This was the best rating I had on them. They look amazing around your face. The Turbine sunglasses show people that you have a good taste in sunglasses and care about what sunglasses you wear around. The style of these sunglasses is not too big around your face or to small around your face. They are the perfect size to make you look good and give you an extra boost of confidence. The looks of these sunglasses are the best part of the glasses.Overall Oakley Turbine sunglasses are worth the bang for your buck. I recommend getting them if you are an active person. This includes lots of driving, being outdoors, and playing sports. The 4 stars I am giving them is well worth it. The Oakley Turbines are a great product.

Not a solid Hijinx replacement

Normally I don't write reviews but after spending really good money on not 1 but 2 pairs of turbines, I felt the need to review because I am currently having to replace one. Lets start off by the good. The size for a big round head like mine is hard to fit sunglasses. I wear them daily to yearly. They are great in comfort. They fit snug.Now the bad. After 2 years of excessive use, the ear socks literally turned into gooey rubber. I went ahead and attempted to peel it off thinking I could find replacement ear socks. Then I was willing to pay the price for replacement arms which come to find out are hollow in between which ended up breaking. Not a good design. So now I have one pair that is junk and the other pair is slowly working towards its demise as well. So Far, So Good! (part two)

So far so good. I got these sunglasses with my latest RX to replace a pair of Nike Premier Rx sunglasses I had (broken hinge piece). I live and work outside in the southwest and I drive a bit as well. I wanted something sporty with big coverage, lightweight, and a bit stylish. These so far have been very good. The nose/bridge is a bit narrow for my upper nose, but they stay put very well. The temple piece is flexible and ultra lightweight and grip really well. I got them in the charcoal lens with slight mirrow finish, Oakley lenses.

Wow

Oakley maritime prizm polarized turbine I was skeptical when i first learned about the prizm technology. I thought it was going to just be some marketing mumbo jumbo, and they would be like any other pair of sunglasses. I was wrong! They are everything oakley said they would be. Color's are enhanced with a very fine crispness. It is like looking through an expensive set of leica binoculars with the contrast turned up. dark areas in your view are more lit up as well. Hard to explain, you really do have to just see for yourself. I have owned good sets of shades from all of the other brands nothing is like the prizm maritime. Its a game changer, buy it if you are on the fence. You will not be disappointed.
