Oakley Sunglasses OO9449 Gibston - Black

Gotta say I love these shades. Great value. Got mine at a place called Sunglass World (matte black with the green reflective lenses). The frames are light with just enough curve to be complimentary to my face. The best feature is they allow my face to "breathe." I'm a hot natured guy and lots of these type shades hug my face so closely that they end up making me sweat and fogging up. The gibston frame is a great design. If you are gonna drop 100-150 on shades then these are the way to go. The lenses add a touch of color while shading your eyes just enough for fishing, golf, and (MOST importantly) drinking beer on a sunny day. Go get a pair.

Precision made,quality is top notch. The prism lenses really clarifyWhen it is bright out. I never thought I would spend a higher amount on sunglasses. A friend insisted that I would be impressed. Gibston... MY "Go-To"

For the 3rd straight year, Gibston is my frame of choice. The frame has a nice wrap that is perfect for my head shape... Helping to keep my eyes safe while I ride my motorcycle. This frame also fits comfortably while wearing my helmet, which is extremely important... Especially while riding for hours on end. Have had this frame in clear, green and now the brown... Love them all. Paired with Transitions, polycarbonate prescription lenses, my eyes are safe all day.

Great Experience

I'm very happy with my purchase from SportRX. The glasses themselves are amazing, but that's Oakley's fault, right? As for SportRX, their website is very well designed, easy to navigate, and offers a huge selection at fair prices. I'm fortunate in that I didn't need any extra customer support for my purchase, but I knew it was made readily available if the need ever arose. My order was a prescription lense set, and they seem to have turned out as good as I could ever imagine, and in a reasonable amount of time. Overall, I would gladly purchase from SportRX again. If I had to name a single problem, it would be that I ordered a SportRX case along with my glasses, which did not arrive. Not for me

The Gibston sunglasses are not a good fit for my face. The bottom of the frame rubs against my cheek making them uncomfortable. I also don't like that the frame has no rubber on the nose and temples to keep the glasses in place. The prizm lenses and the Oakley return policy are great. I would be looking for a different frame.

Oakley Gibston

Impressive glasses, timeless style, great clarity, easy to wear. Minor complaints are that they fall off my head when my head is inverted, otherwise secure. Other issue is that the sun filter is light and I worry that they maybe unsuitable for bright days skiing.

Oakley Gibston Polished Clear Prizm Sapphire Iridium

Fabulous super lightweight sunglasses that i was able to get prescription lenses installed. This is my first pair of clear glasses but according to my wife they suit my grey hair better than black framed glasses. The purchasing process and speed of delivery from GSS was beyond my expectations, and I would recommend anyone to go through this process, as their pricing was also better than at Oakley stores.

Oakley Gibston Sunglasses

Good fit for a smaller/narrow face, decent shades for everyday wear as well as for sports (biking, running). Sapphire iridium lenses give a slightly red shade (but not too aggressive). Well constructed and durable sunglasses, as expected from Oakley.

Sleek sunglasses with a large field of view

These sunglasses are perfect for all around use in the car, walking about and golfing. They will become my golf sunglasses as their main use. The Prism lens feature is subtle and seems to crisp up the edges of objects. It will be fun to find out if they help me determine distance of objects on the golf course. These sunglasses met my goal of large field of view where the frame doesnt obstruct the view. I only see an edge of the frame at the bottom of my view. And its so nice to have new, unmared lenses, again.

Work great for motorcycle

I purchased these glasses with the brown tint and photochromic lenses. Absolutely love them!They are very lightweight and the prescription continues through the slight wrap around with crystal clear clarity. The glasses sit close enough to my face to cut out almost all of the wind. (I don't like the glasses with foam inserts,)I chose the brown tint lenses over the black tint because I wanted to make sure my depth perception wasn't affected. They obviously aren't as dark as the black tint, but I really like them. The only time I find myself squinting a little bit is if I am riding straight towards the sun and the sun is low enough to not be blocked with my helmet visor.The photochromic lenses are awesome.
