Oakley Sutro Lite - Sunglasses

Perfect pair of shades for cycling early mornings and evenings into the night. Super light weight carbon frame. The Sutro frame paired with clear photochromic lenses makes me forget I’m wearing sunglasses, they’re that comfortable and clear. All I hope is that oakley starts coming out with colored photochromic lenses! Excellent shades!

I became convinced these sunglasses were the way to go as soon as I tried on a friends pair. First off, they look phenomenal! Big lens, gradient mirrored finish, cannot be beat. The white frames pop with the lens as well.Comfort: By far the most comfortable sunglasses I have worn. I also own Raybans and Pitvipers, the Oakley’s by far.Vision: The upped contrast is a game changer. Down in Phoenix where everything is pretty mundane color wise, any hint of green or blue absolutely pops.Durability: One thing I have loved about the sunglasses so far is their lightweight and scratch resistance. With other mirrored-like finishes, the finish generally scratches or fades fairly easily depending on the brand. Where do I begin? Here’s where, when the Sutro’s first released, I want to say 2018… could be wrong but whenever they first released was when I got them. I used them for cycling, volleyball and tennis and when I tell you I put them through the wringer, that’s the least of what I did. And they held up well. All they were needing 3 years later was a lens replacement. But then, the Sutro Lites were made aware to me and yea. Went with these. What you get out of Oakley is tried and true lens technology, there’s nothing on the market right now that can measure up to Prizm. Amazingly durable and stylish frames, that for the sports enthusiasts out there needing an all in one, this is it. I will continue with Oakley as my only sunglass choice for years to come.
