I love this moisturizer! It may not seem like much, but rest assured it works amazing. It releases hydration throughout the day so my skin never gets parched when I wear this. It also is not too heavy that my skin cannot breathe. It seems to self-adjust. I can use this on my driest days and my oiliest days and it's perfect no matter what. I really like this moisturizer, I tried the 1.7 oz size before buying the professional size. What I didn't like about the 1.7 oz is the horrible dispensing system, mine quit working and I ended up taking off the bottom and scraping the product into a different container. This solves the poor dispensing system completely. The product is beautiful, I have very sensitive skin and this doesn't irritate my skin at all. I used this in the morning and the Hydrate Luxe at night over my retinol and couldn't be happier.

I had oily and dehydrated skin. However, after using this moisturizer for a couple of months, my skin no longer has an oily and tight feeling. It is very moisturizing and not greasy at all. The quality is very good and I can tell a difference in my skin since using it. My skin feels more elastic and hydrated. The only problem is the pump. It doesn’t get all of the product out, so it feels like I’m wasting money since I can’t use all of the moisturizer. I got a little sample of this moisturizer and really liked it. So I decided to order it. It did not disappoint! Sometimes the samples are different from the actual product. This one was the same. Nice creamy smooth silky moisturizer. Lasts the whole day. Easy use with the pump. I like that it’s non scented. Really like it. Will definitely buy again.
This moisturizer is everything, gentle yet effective! I'm on my fourth bottle. However, believe the reviews on the pump system failure. With each bottle, I was only able to get one or two uses of the pump after opening, before it stops working, and I then have to go through the hassle of taking the parts out, and putting the lotion in a different container. I do love this product, which is why I keep re-purchasing; but Please Please Obagi, do something about this present pumps on these bottles or come up with a different system, because this present one is VERY DEFECTIVE!!!, four bottles in a row now, something has to be fixed. I will definitely be buying again, just because of how much I love the product.
I was really excited to try this because I'd heard great things about Obagi products. This was a big letdown. It felt very heavy on my face. The scent was highly off-putting for me. While it didn't make me break out all over, I did have more skin issues while using it. If I could have returned it, I would have. I also had issue with the packaging - the lid doesn't snap on super securely and I feel like the design is for left-handed people (good for them, but not for me) with the direction of the pump facing in combination with the printing on the bottle (I always grab it backwards).
I absolutely love this lotion but almost threw away an entire $55 bottle because the pump is for looks only. It’s hasn’t worked properly since I opened the product. I chipped the tile on my bathroom counter just trying to get the lotion out. Unfortunately, you can’t remove the top cover. So if the pump doesn’t work, you can’t access any of the glorious lotion within. Doesn’t matter how great the product is if I have to scavenge for every drop. Super disappointed.
I bought this on April 17, 2023 from my dermatologist’s office. I noticed that the moisturizer in itself is incredible. I have very dry and acne prone skin and this worked wonders immediately upon application. Unfortunately, the pump broke today (April 29,2023) and getting the product out is a huge problem. The bottle is basically filled with product and now I can’t use it. I expected the packaging to be a lot better given the great name and empirical data backing this brand up. I love this product but, paying $55 for something to stop working two weeks in is horrible. Obagi, please do better with your packaging or tell me how to fix this. I don’t want this amazing product or my money to go to waste.

I bought this to use over my tret at night and love it. It’s thick, creamy, and it absorbs well. I love the pump so I’m not constantly opening a bottle, and I love that my skin doesn’t flake or peel any longer. I’ll also use this on days when my skin needs quenched. I can’t say I’ve added makeup on top of it, so I’m not sure if it would work as a daytime product in regards to layering. I went ahead and subscribed to this, as I cannot see myself without it moving forward. Really helped me soothe my skin.
