This is such a great option for infants. Around the 3 month stage you can help your little one learn to grab using this oball. It's designed to fit their little fingers and light enough that it's easy for them to hold. Highly recommend!

My 3 month olds first toy. He can grab and hold easily. At first the grabbing was inadvertent and then by 3 1/2 months he learned to intentionally grab and bring to his mouth. He likes the bright orange color. The only thing I dislike is he tries to chew on it but he gets frustrated sometimes because the design of the ball doesn’t allow for teething. Babies can’t get their mouths in the holes of the balls to chew on so he just sticks his tongue through the holes.

The ball itself is a good size and great for babies who like to put things in their mouth since it adds a sensory-like play with the holes. The color of the ball was not red like I thought it would be however, it was definitely orange. And the little balls inside the one I got were all purple except for 1 of the rattles which was multi-colored.. the picture does not show this. Because of this, I deducted 2 stars.
I'm very picky about toys purely because clutter stresses me out. I like toys that keep his attention and are useable for long periods of time (we have Lovevery and that's about it). a friend came over with their son and brought this with them and our son loved it! he's 5 months old and I went to target to buy it immediately! great toy!
Baby loved holding this lightweight ball. The small circular pieces encased in the hard plastic, hopefully, will stay encased in the hard plastic. I'd advise careful monitoring while in use.
Bright Starts Oballs are such great toys, I keep coming back to get more, whether it is for my baby, my friends' babies. My baby love them to bits, it was the only toy that we couls hold from birth. He played the Oball so much, at least, until 6 months old.
One of my favorite toys for my 4mo old. It’s the first toy he could grab and hold himself. The design makes it easy for little hands to grab. I can hold it above his head shaking it and he’ll just stare at it for a long time. He grabs it and holds it and tries to eat it. I think he’ll like this for many months because eventually he can roll it/throw it/etc. The slight rattle noise is really soft and not annoying at all. I also bought the smaller green rattle version of this which is very similar and I like that too. If I could only have one I’d choose this ball.
We’ve had an Oball since my first was a newborn and he’s played with it since he could hold it. He’s two now and still plays with, so we just bought another for our new baby. It’s easy for babies to grasp, it rattles, and my favorite is that I can use attach it to the stroller with pacifier clips easily so we can take it everywhere without worrying about it falling on the ground.
my baby just entered the stage where everything goes in his mouth. he dropped the ball into the floor so I washed it at the sink with soap and water and left it to dry. there's white mold I assume under the clear plastic rings. i can't give this back to him now.
