This Oculus Case is good, but not for $60. At that price, I could buy several cases from a third party brand with the $60. It has storage for the Oculus, its 2 controllers, and its charger. Although I cannot tell what the case is made of, it is a strong material and will survive multiple drops. However, its zipper is extremely cheap. It is a simple string that I am lucky to not break yet. Now, it is an good case, although incredibly expensive. The price, along with the zipper is why my review is 3 stars. Now, if Meta were to redesign the case, they should add a new zipper, made of metal.

I bought this solely for the aesthetics, and it's got a great build, very durable, light weight and protective. I don't think the quality could be better. AND Great aesthetics.Checks all the boxes for me, except the one and only design flaw. The Zipper fastener. It can and will very easily get stuck facing on the inside the case making it incredibly frustrating to open it.If this brand releases a second updated model of this, I would buy in a heartbeat.

This carrying case is a fine solution for the storage and transportation of the Quest 2 headset. It holds the headset in place firmly, providing just enough room for the headset (if you use prescription lens inserts, I find they fit fine), controllers*, elite strap, usb c cable, earbuds, and power brick. The first issue I encountered is the way you have to wedge the controllers in to the case for them to not rattle around whenever the case is moved. The insert inside the case isn’t clear on positioning, and when I match the method found within the product pictures the controllers are not securely in place. There is, however, a way to make the controllers fit; you can wedge the controllers with their base in the outer ring of the other controller and then push it ... MoreThis carrying case is a fine solution for the storage and transportation of the Quest 2 headset. It feels too thin to protect the device from a drop, and the material feels of a low quality.

This is overall a good quality case but there are some issues. One week after owning this the little pull strap that is on the zipper fell off somewhere and I lost it. This missing strap makes it very difficult to open or close this case without it on the zipper.Minus 1 star. Then if you ever end up upgrading your original strap on the Oculus, be prepared to look for another case. It will likely not fit.Especially if you are looking at a 3rd party version of the Oculus elite strap like I have. The buckle portion of the strap that fits behind your head will end up being to tall for when you store the quest in the case, resulting in you not being able to actually close the case for protection. This really needs to be in the product description, I guess it could ... MoreThis is overall a good quality case but there are some issues. One week after owning this the little pull strap that is on the zipper fell off somewhere and I lost it. If you do have a 3rd party elite strap you probably need to do more research. I'd recommend looking elsewhere.Minus another star.It is 3 stars because the fit and finish of the case is good, if you have all Oculus accessories. You wont have any problems with storage in that scenario. The actual build of the case is hard enough that it will do a good job of protecting with any normal everyday bumps and falls. Unfortunately I am now looking for a different case because of my aftermarket strap fitment issue.
I'm not really a fan of this case, it's kinda ugly, grabs cat hair like there's no tomorrow, it's too small, and the materials don't feel like they're the best, I wouldn't trust this case to protect my Quest were it to get knocked to the floor or anything, but barebones it gets the job done as a carrying case. I wish it were a little bigger on the inside though as everything gets crammed in, especially if you also add the official link cable. There's no space for the extras like the fit masks and such either. My biggest pet peeve, however, is the fact that when you zipper it shut, due to there being so little space inside the case the zipper gets caught on the side wire of the charging cable of the elite battery pack (if you happen to have one installed on your ... MoreI'm not really a fan of this case, it's kinda ugly, grabs cat hair like there's no tomorrow, it's too small, and the materials don't feel like they're the best, I wouldn't trust this case to protect my Quest were it to get knocked to the floor or anything, but barebones it gets the job done as a carrying case. There's no space for the extras like the fit masks and such either. My biggest pet peeve, however, is the fact that when you zipper it shut, due to there being so little space inside the case the zipper gets caught on the side wire of the charging cable of the elite battery pack (if you happen to have one installed on your Quest) and it was a massive pain to open the case without breaking the zipper or ripping the side cable. I've heard others complain about this exact problem as well so I know it's not just me. I remedied this by placing a thin strip of cardboard along the zipper seam on the side where the charging wire is between the cable and the zipper every time I close it I place it there and zipper and unzipper with more ease. It's not a perfect solution but lets me get the most out of my case for all it's worth without damaging my case or more importantly my Quest and elite battery charging cable. I also don't like that the case can be purchased separately, but you can't seem to buy the battery pack without the case. I bought this case for my husband's Quest as I got the case already with my battery pack, but now he's annoyed that the battery packs are sold out, and when they eventually restock them he'll be forced to buy another case with the battery pack as they're sold as a forced set, and we'll have a spare case no one wants or needs.
Pros: This case is designed by Meta specifically for its Quest II headset. So everything fits in nicely.Cons: Considering it is Meta actual brand it feel very very flimsy. The two sides of the case don't marry up exactly and aren't even solid when zipped up. Have seen off brand cases offering significantly better protect at a third of the price!
I was able to test this by taking it to a hospital parking garage to use while waiting for a surgery to finish. The case looks and feels premium but I don't think it's worth it's initial asking price. It feels 30% more expensive than it should be. The front pocket compartment is great for storing lens wipes. However the compartment wall doesn't extend to the top of the case so there's a gap that would allow small objects to escape from that compartment. I wouldn't put small objects like batteries in there as they could eventually find their way to your HMD's lenses. I'm sure I'll get better at putting the controllers away but I don't like it. The controller placement is not intuitive and it takes a few tries to get the orientation right. I guess I could cut that down and put that inside the case.I initially came here to give this a 4 star review but after typing my thoughts I think 3 1/2 would be more appropriate. It feels so close to perfection though, I like it.
Physically a perfect case. The space saving design is second to none. The entire Quest 2 setup, complete with both controllers, a charger, the Quest 2 itself, and even some earbud headphones you throw in all fit together in an amazingly compact case that also feels really tough and hard wearing. The convenient handle on top makes carrying it around easy as well. Great case to throw somewhere and take this with you.
I was surprised how much I disliked it. The photo doesn't tell the story. It's basically the same size as the box that the Quest 2 comes in. That's only useful if you have the Elite strap. Otherwise, just use the original box. It's sturdy. The second issue is that it just seems to be poor quality. It's firm, but when you zip it up, the top and bottom of the shell don't line up. They sit to the side. And it's not just mine. They all do that. But the worst thing about this case is the material. Like I said, the picture doesn't really show you what's going on. The entire case is a FUZZY, scratchy fabrick. It is likely to get snagged on anything that's a little rough, but it's also going to pick up any particles it comes in contact with. If you have animals, expect cat or dog hair to just become part of this case.I returned it and got a third party case that was about 5 inches shorter and just as secure.
So I'm going to give this just an average review because the Pro's and Con's are about equal.Pro's:Holds the Quest and the handles very neatly. also has space for the USB cable and cleaning cloth and a few other small accessories. It is super light and easy to carry and fits in a backpack.Con's:It just feels cheap, especially for the price. The zipper sticks almost constantly so you have to back up and start over. And I know it's not just a kink in one spot because it happens at random spots. When it's unzipped I feel like the top is just going to fall off.So, for the money, I think you can find a better aftermarket case but this one does do the job it is intended for.
