Lost Mode works with any mobile device with an NFC reader and web browser. Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and UWB capabilities for finding items The SmartTag2 leverages AR Find technology to visually guide you toward your tagged item using an ultra-wideband connection and your smartphone's camera. In addition, Galaxy SmartTag2 uses Bluetooth Low Energy technology to locate items like tagged TV remotes via the SmartThings Station. Keep track of objects like wallets, keys, earbuds, and more via Bluetooth The SmartTag2 can easily and effectively be connected to your device through Bluetooth, with a 120m range it allows you to keep track of your most important possessions. Unlike other forms of connection such as WIFI which requires an internet connection, this is an effective, reliable and secure way to connect your SmartTag2 to your device. If the item tracked is outside of the 120m Bluetooth range, SmartThings Find will use other devices, safely and securely, to help find your device.
