OGX Extra Strength Hydrate & Repair Argan Oil of Morocco Shampoo 385ml

Overall I liked these OGX Argan oil hair products more than I expected. I typically use a volumizing shampoo and conditioner since my hair is fine. But my hair is dryer and fuller since living in the desert, so the moisture from these worked well and made my hair feel silky and strong. I did find these have too much protein for my hair to use all the time, so I’m mixing these in once a week for an extra dose of hydration without weighing my hair down too much. I liked that these products aren’t heavily scented, and they contain no parabens or sulfates. Shampoo - not strongly scented, has a pearlescent quality, lathers well and my hair feels nice and clean when I rinse it out. I received these products for free from Influenster and OGX in exchange for my honest review.

I love this product and there is nothing that I didn't dislike the packaging is cute, it doesn't cost an arm and a leg, and is salon Worthy. THIS shampoo has been bashed but they upgraded thier ingredients! Paired with their dry oil argan your hair will look better than ever! Maybe update the packaging but I'm a stronger believer in the old ways I think ogx is one of those that keeps thier older advertising! This shampoo is everything!! The smell is incredible and after weeks of losing purple dye with every shower and my hair always feeling like it had excess buildup and weight, my hair dye finally stopped bleeding, and didn’t fade during any other hair wash. My hair also felt thoroughly cleaned and softer and lighter then it’s been in months. This shampoo lathers well and I didn’t need much product to feel like my hair was all the way clean. The shampoo itself feels very conditioning and even before conditioning my hair was soft and tangle free. I was worried about the solid heavier bottles cracking with the amount I tend to drop bottles, but they’ve had several good hard drops and I have had no burst bottles.

In the shower, I found that this shampoo did not lather very easily. I had to put the shampoo in my hand four times to create a good lather on my scalp (I do not lather my ends). The lather was not a lot, but I figured maybe it’s just how it is. It did make my hair squeaky, which is how I knew it was clean. After towel drying and brushing, I was skeptical, as my hair didn’t have that smooth glide to it. But, the dry product is a fully silky mane. I don’t remember the last time that my hair was this soft. I can see myself re-purchasing this product. I received this product for free as an incentive to write a review.

I believe I have used this shampoo once before many years ago. I was surprised this time around about the scent: not as strong as it was previously. I have chemically treated hair that is dry as a result. I find this shampoo to be good. It does seem to cleanse and moisturise my hair without weighing it down. I used the conditioner and oil, as well as another Korean hair mask and Japanese styling product in the above picture. I did try this shampoo and conditioner and oil exclusively on another occasion and found that my hair was still quite dry. Again, I have chemically treated hair and it requires extra moisture. Overall, I would say that this shampoo is good. If your hair is not chemically treated, I might go so far as to say that it's very good.

I have used other OGX shampoo (the Biotin purple bottle) in the past and both shampoos by OGX have a very pleasant and lovely scent. That being said I wish the scent did last longer and not dissipate shortly after you’ve washed your hair. The product is a great consistency, it’s thick but sudds up nicely and spreads evenly throughout my hair leaving it feeling refreshed and looking clean. The price point is pretty comparable but especially good because I often see it on sale at Shoppers Drug Mart and Walmart. I stopped using OGX products regularly as a precaution as I had read concerning reviews online regarding several alarming complaints and law suits against the company’s product.

I’ve been using this shampoo for almost a year now. It smells so good and gives my hair a lively, healthy shine and feel. The shampoo is creamy and on lazy days I don’t have to use conditioner to keep them silky and soft. I still use a conditioner but if someone wants to cut their hair care time in half , this shampoo will do it for you. It is sulphate free. I would recommend this shampoo to people who have dry, itchy, damaged hair but not for someone who has oily hair. I don’t wash my hair as often anymore as long as I use dry shampoo in between. I adore this shampoo.

This shampoo and conditioner set has worked wonders for my dry, damaged hair. It's helped my hair look healthier, shinier and overall less dry. I've also been using it on my daughter and it works great for her hair as well. Her hair gets tangled super easy but after applying the conditioner, it's easy to brush out any tangles and it leaves her hair so shiny and smooth. They smell amazing, I've always heard good things about this brand and now that I've tried it, I can understand why. I even went out and bought a bottle of their fine curly hair shampoo for my youngest daughter and it smells amazing too. I highly recommend!

Hydrated, adds shine to hair

I love this shampoo, I love argen oil for my hair and this shampoo is so gentle and hydrating and leaves my hair so silky and soft and so shiny I get compliments when iv used it. It lathers well and has a pleasant scent and it helps restore my hair when it feels dry and brittle. I have thick hair and this shampoo is perfect for it, it controls frizz and makes styling easier. I love the bright turquoise container and it lasts well as I never need to use a lot. This shampoo has restored my hair and it protects it from heat styling which is great as I regularly use a straightening iron. I recommend using the matching conditioner to keep hair sleek shiny and nourished. I would highly recommend this shampoo especially if you have dry or damaged hair
